BrooksMen's Addiction Walker 2 Walking Shoe

The search for a comfortable shoe is finally over!
Excellent shoes for flat feet. For me, there was a slight "breaking in" period, but it was worth it. They are SO COMFORTABLE now! I put a lot of mileage on them at work, and they hold up really well. These are my go to shoe from now on!

The best walking shoes I have ever had.
I do a lot of walking and bought a pair of Brooks Addiction 2 Walkers two years ago. After just under 2000 miles on them I decided to get another pair. The originals are a little rough looking but I still wear them to work in around the house. These shoes are extremely comfortable and hold up well. I had always had trouble with wearing out the heals on light hiker shoes and also the EVA in the footed would break down and become uncomfortable. I have not had either issue with the Brooks Walkers. I am sold completely on these shoes and will continue to purchase them.

Great shoe but not non-slip
I love brooks shoes which is why when I saw they made a "slip-resistant" black leather shoe, I ordered it for work since I am a server at a restaurant. These shoes started slipping on the back of house floors from the first time wearing them; they are dangerous. I will probably continue to wear them because they are comfortable, lightweight, and seem durable just like any other brooks shoes, but beware that you will be sliding around on slick surfaces.

I personally don’t recommend this shoe.
There’s a couple reasons why I’m giving this product a two star rating rather than five stars. I want to know that delivery and shipping was amazing and overnight and none of the issues are with the seller at hand. The pros of the shoes are they’re very comfortable and fit great for wide feet. The issue I have with the shoe is I bought these shoes for slip resistant purposes as I work as a server in the restaurant industry and these shoes need to be red developed or re-modified as I have slipped and fell 2 times last night and a couple days prior almost fell again as it was like skating on ice. I wasn’t in any abnormal situation in the restaurant service. I was stepping on liquid fluid or minor oils and thankfully, I didn’t fall hard enough to injure myself, but if I was older or had certain medical conditions or a person of seniority/ older age as our elders I could’ve easily injured myself or broken a hip and so forth. I literally stepped on some minor oil oils and hit the ground hard and thankfully I’m at young age but again this could’ve been worse if I had certain age or medical conditions. So what I am doing now is going back to the Walmart shoes that have better traction, and unfortunately, the sketchers caused more aches and pains but I’d rather choose safety over comfort any day. I do not recommend this product for any restaurant server or elder person or people with certain medical conditions that if you sustain a fall, you are susceptible to injury.

Great for insoles
While the cost is a bit high, I have found Brooks to be my sure & steady walking shoe. Lost track of how many years I've be wearing these but I would recommend them to someone who wants a solid shoe.

Not the same anymore
I wear custom orthotics and brooks have been the only shoes I have comfortably worn for about 11 years. I buy 3-4 pair a year. Of the last 5 pair, 3 just aren’t the same at all. I wore the ones I just rec’vd 4 times and have decided to give up on them. I was more than willing to spend the money

Inconsistent size
Ordered a 9.5w and they were a little tight so I returned them and ordered 10w and they were even tighter than the 9.5w. My rating is based on the size inconsistency not on the shoe itself. I've heard these are good shoes, just never got a chance to wear them. I'm afraid to order a size bigger because I have a feeling they'll be too big.
