I just started milling my own timber and needed something to ensure the first cut is level. This works exactly as advertised. Easy to setup and easy to use. I'm very happy with this product.

Screws should be more secure as they lose up after/during extensive usage.

I really like this product. For not have using one before, it sets up easily, and was simple to use. Built well. Very solid.

To start with I have not had the chance to use mine yet, that is why I rated it at what i did. The rails and cross brackets seem to be a good quality. The washers are thin and weak, I'm not sure of the bolt hardness, the nuts that keep the whole thing together and rigid should be nyloc so they don't loosen during use. One other thing that has to do with connection of the sections. There is one thick flat piece that joins the sections. Other brands I have seen have two thick pieces that connect the sections. The price you pay reflects the quality of parts compared to other brands. One more thing, one of the dog brackets only had one hole drilled in it. Luckily, I was capable of drilling the hole.

It worked well, I change out the nuts to lock nuts to keep them from loosing. You need to keep the log 8’ or shorter to have enough rail extending beyond to get you mill simeoto hang on.

I don't usually leave bad reviews, but this Chainsaw Mill is terrible. I really don't know where to start. The instructions for the milling bar had two different papers. One showed it one way and the contradicted it. I went with the one way and had to undo everything. As noted in other reviews, the nuts come loose so fast. It says install the included "lock washers" but none were found. They are so many things that have to be adjusted it's almost impossible to get it correct. Loading a 63cc 22" chainsaw was also a nightmare. If you tighten too tight the on the bar the chain locks up. The measurements are way off because all logs are different and the item sits different on each one. It's really a bad design. I can see why people DIY their own. Do not recommend. The reason I gave it a 2 star and not 1 is because it was packaged well and all the parts were there except the lock washers.
