This stuff is sticky! Be sure you know exactly where you want this, not easy to remove once installed. I recently used the Gorilla Heavy Duty Double Sided Mounting Tape to hang some decorations in my living room, and it worked perfectly! The adhesive is incredibly strong, holding up heavier items without any issues. I appreciate that it's weatherproof, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. The black color blends seamlessly with darker surfaces, providing a clean look. Just be cautious during application—the bond is permanent, so ensure your placement is accurate. Overall, a fantastic product that delivers on its promises!

Awesome tape! Much, much stickier than that other brand of double sided tape! I used this to attach a single shell holder to the side of my waterfowl shotgun. At first I used the gray tape and it flew off as soon as the first shot was fired! It could not withstand the recoil of the gun. So I ordered the Gorilla Brand and used that to attach the shell holder, it has withstood dozens of shots now and is still very firmly attached! Gorilla truly is the "STICKEST OF THE ICKY"! LoL!

I got this to mount some large surge protectors to my walls. The plastic ones (18 port) stayed up just fine, but the metal one still fell off, even though I put the tape over the entire distance (3 feet, 1 meter). It might be that the metal was just a bit too heavy (it really wasnt heavy at all), or that it was too narrow to resist gravity with the heavy block plugs inserted into it. Instructions advise to run the strips along the product VERTICALLY, but this was not possible in the metal surge protector, which had to run horizontally. Still, I feel that such a product SHOULD HAVE BEEN ABLE to hold it. It succeeded for about 2 days, then fell off the wall. It was near the baseboard of the wall, so no damage was done, but it was a disappointment. However, the mammoth sized 18-port, 3 columned, rectangular shaped, plastic surge protectors are still holding up on the wall terrifically! That's why I'm giving this 4 stars and not 1. Just remember to mount the strips vertically along the length of the object you want to mount, and you should be good, as long as it doesnt come too far out from the wall.

I absolutely hate unexpected people at my door. I don't want you preaching to me, talking politics, trying to sell me anything, or generally just annoying me. For that reason, I bought a not so nice little flexible no soliciting sign to put on my front door, in hopes of intimidating people off my property. 🤣 The problem is....command strips nor velcro would keep it on my door. It drooped, rolled downward and was simply sad and pathetic....it intimidated no one. I think some people actually looked at it, laughed, and proceeded to knock or ring the doorbell even though it clearly said not to. Enter this amazing mounting tape. I put 3 long strips on the back, put my sign back on the door for the 4th time and held my breath in desperate hope that this would be the magic solution. I am so happy to report that I finally have found peace. I no longer have to hear the 7 cats and 2 dogs howling, screeching, and generally losing their minds every time these unwanted guests start pounding on my door. Miraculously, most people actually stop and read the sign now and simply turn around and leave. I'm a changed woman. I'm no longer on the verge of a nervous breakdown. I no longer scream profanity at random strangers through my front door. Thank your gorilla tape! I will forever be in your debt as you have truly restored my sanity!

Like many people, I didn't want to drill into the brick to mount my Ring Doorbell Plus (HOA, lease restrictions, not comfortable using power tools, etc). I have a Doorbell Plus and initially bought a clamp mount. It was very secure but did not give me the viewing ability I needed.My house is brick. I read many comments on social media that no-drill camera mounts do not adhere well to textured brick (Some brick is very smooth). Many mount and 2-sided adhesive product descriptions also warned that the products will not stick securely to textured surfaces. The research to find a good option gave me a headache. I was quite frustrated because I needed the camera due a safety issue. I needed to act quickly. I took a chance and ordered this Gorilla 2-sided tape.It rained the day the tape arrived and overnight, so I waited 2 days to allow drying as the rainfall was heavy and the brick wall got soaked. I ordered this in early June and I live in the South (humid as heck).First, I cleaned the brick surface with isopropyl alcohol twice and let it dry. (I did this while doing other stuff so my total drying time was about 2 hours. I don't think anyone would need to wait that long given how isopropyl evaporates). The Ring no-drill mount comes with 2-sided tape. I added strips of the Gorilla tape in-between the original tape, in the center of the mount plate (I think 2 strips). Per instructions, apply the tape vertically. I saw many comments by people who said they had a hard time getting the tape backing off. I did not. I ordered razor blades as a few people recommended in anticipation of difficulty. I have very short nails and was able to remove the backing without frustration. Fairly easy. I didn't need to use a blade.I pressed the mount plate on the brick for a few minutes. I waited 36 hours before securing the camera. Thankfully, it did not rain during that time.Almost two months later, after rain, hail, humidity from hell, and heat index advisories, the mount is still secure on the textured brick wall. I am pleased with the Gorilla tape. A great option for someone who did not want to drill into the brick, could not remember where her drill was and really did not want to be bothered hunting around for it.Additional info:In some DIY forums I read that people use a hair dryer to warm 2-sided tape before mounting to increase adhesion. I forgot to do this but am sharing in case someone finds the tip useful. I also read that this tape is removable using fishing line and a solvent to remove residue (have to research to find the best removal agent option that won't damage the surface you're working with).
