I had used a shoulder immobilizer over 30 years ago when I had a motor vehicle accident which separated my AC joint and shattered my scapula. I remembered how much it helped having the shoulder immobilizer to bear the weight of my arm hanging. The Wonder Care shoulder immobilizer does that! It helps with keeping my arm in place to minimize movement so I don’t have as much nerve pain from movement of my arm. I ordered the size-3 (36"-40") knowing my jacket size is a 38 regular. The fit is spot on and it’s been a huge help!

I had shoulder surgery for a labral tear and bicep tenodesis. I had to pretty much be in a sling 24/7 for six weeks, so that means I had to sleep in a sling. With a normal sling, it’d put pressure on my shoulder that it’d cause pain and really uncomfortable to sleep in. This one made it easier to sleep and made sure my arm didn’t move around too much. I can workout in this plus having an additional shoulder immobilizer. As I slowly weaned off a sling, this one made it easier to do. The only downfall is the wrist size and placement. It still did the job but could be better if there was more support or maybe adjustable placement.

None of these immobilizers are fun and comfortable really. Your lower arm is attached to a tight elastic band around your waist. This one is way superior to the one the doctor gave me. It was tight elastic and had to be pulled tight on the side. Try that with one arm! I had to keep it on for days because I have no one here to help me fasten the side. I looked at all the different ones and this had similar straps for you arm as the one they gave me, but it closes in the front! I was so happy to trash the other one and with this I could take it off to shower and change clothes. It's pretty easy to put on and take off. I've had it on for two months and that's no picnic but at least I can work with this brace.

My husbands chest is 50 inches, I ordered the size 48-54 inches and it was way too small. We measured the item for length and it was 50 inches long. The velcro only overlapped about half an inch, and that was snug. I returned and they only refunded $19.00 instead of the $24---they deducted return shipping! I have Amazon Prime, and it was a "Prime" item. There was no indication in the item description about not being able to return it or having to pay return shipping. Then---I reordered another one in the biggest size--54-60 inches. When we received the 2nd one, we measured it and IT WAS THE EXACT SAME LENGTH!!!!!!!!! The first one ordered was labeled size 3XL, the second one was labeled 4XL, and they were exactly the same length--50 inches, and fit the same. I returned that one also, but this time the return stated I was receiving the entire purchase price. This company does not have good sizing information on this item. The worst thing is that they deducted return shipping on the first one I ordered! I should never had to pay return shipping----THAT'S why I have Prime!!!! We gave up on trying to find one that would fit without being tight, and we used an ACE bandage wrapped around his chest and upper arm. The ACE bandage reminded him not to raise his arm above his shoulder and was stretchy enough to not be uncomfortable. I would NEVER buy from Wonder Care company again!!!!!

There is no annoying belt around the neck This belt securely holds the entire arm close to the body.

I ordered the wrong size for my husband but seller would not let me return so I’m out our money. Make sure you have the correct size before ordering or order from another seller. It runs small also.

This shoulder immobilizer was exactly what I was looking for. I needed something to help support my arm after Thoracic surgery. I did not need my arm totally immobilized, but something to help [revent me from reaching out away from my body. I also couldn't have the added pressure that a regular sling would provide with the strap. This product is breathable (my surgery was in July and has been in the mid to upper 90s since) and I have no problems with overheating or any extra sweating where it is around my torso. The other great feature of this product is it is very easy to adjust the height of the support. I could apply it with one arm and get it exactly where it needed to be.I did have one issue where the front wrist support came detached. I messaged the seller and they replace the entire immobilizer with no issues and in a very timely manner. That customer support really just overdid my experience with this product. I will be recommending this product and seller to anyone I know who needs an arm or shoulder support.

More comfortable than the one I received post shoulder surgery. Stretchy and easy to put on by myself which is a relief.

Ein angenehmes tragen ohne wie bei den üblichen Schienen ,entweder sie drücken am Hals oder an der Schulter. Diese Armschiene hält den Arm nach einer Schulter OP so wie es sein soll .Voeallem mann kann vernünftig schlafen und gerade im sommer ist es trotz allem luftig und relativ bequem.
