As a teacher, I am always looking for ways to help my students organize things. These portfolios are just the thing to hold the handouts for each class subject.The polypropene is very sturdy. After months of use, none of the folders have cracked or torn. The pockets are handy for holding miscellaneous papers and they are still firmly attached to the covers.I have ordered this brand of portfolios before and was extremely pleased with everything about the folders. However, this particular box has a minor problem: the prongs are not attached firmly enough. They spin around when you try to insert them into the holed paper. The prongs have not come loose or detached, but it is annoying to try to insert the prong into the paper. Once the prong is in, it behaves as you would expect it to. It holds the paper fine.I will continue to order these portfolios because they are a wonderful bargain at about $1.25 per folder. Purchased individually, these cost a lot more.

I taught kindergarten and I needed the students to have the same color "take home" folders. This made it easier to distinguish their home folders with other folders. I searched and searched for an affordable alternative. I checked online and in store and I could not find a cost effective bulk folder bundle. Then I found this product on Amazon. I love these folders! They are such great quality. They are very sturdy and durable for students use. I highly recommend these folders. Please note that I did not receive these folders at a discounted rate. I paid full price for these folders and this is my honest review. Please let me know how I am doing by voting "yes."

My teammates and I order these each year for our elementary school students to use as home folders. We put things they need all year (classroom policies, teacher contact info, passwords) in the pronged part, front pocket for things they need to return, and back pocket for things to leave at home. They last the year going to and from every day and in a pinch you could get a second year out of about a third of them. Some tear at the pockets. Once one of my teammates was short a folder in her box. I feel like this particularly product has had more issues lately than when we first bought them. Overall, a good buy if the price is right.

I use them for my games (what challenges I have left, what feats to I still need to accomplish)(okay, sometimes the 'walk-through'). I use them for my monthly Fidelity mailers (yes, I want the paper). I use them for the insurance EOBs I get so I can reference them if I need to ask the insurance company or my doctor questions. I use them for print-out of receipts for things I purchase on-line. I use them for back-ups of printed materials in case I have to return something. I use them for bank statements. I use them for a hard-copy of my entire book collection (I have a computer database, but I occasionally want to check a hard copy to make sure I've added a certain book to the collection or have it or an extra on hand for selling). I use it for my hard copy of games database, because I have online games and discs, and occasionally I want to look things up on paper. (Don't worry - I recycle.) I have lists of just about everything (YES, I am OCD.) I have folders of the donations I make, the tax information I keep, the CC receipts I get at a doctor's office so I can check the status of a claim...in short - I use a lot of folders. And these are great - no only because they're adaptable with the prongs for those three-hole punched items, but the pockets on the side for smaller items, or items you just need to keep with the overall theme of the folder (like those CC receipts). These are strong, but not overly thick so storing them is not a problem. They do not - in my experience - rip or tear. They're professional-looking enough for a presentation - for school or for work, with a slip for adding your business card on the inside. They're colorful, so you can group them in sections, or go with a whim on what you think is fitting. I used a different brand before trying these, and, in my humble opinion, they are better, more durable, better looking, better quality, provide a better presentation overall, and - if used in a business setting - provide you with a quality looking and feeling product that you can feel positive about. I won't use another brand again.

I bought a case of these C-Line Two-Pocket Heavyweight Poly Portfolios with Prongs nearly a year ago. At the time, I was helping to start up a new non-profit organization, and I had two major concerns in mind: value and durability. My budget was extremely limited, and yet the folders would be used for meetings several times a week, 52 weeks a year. I shopped around in all the local brick and mortar stores, but couldn't find what I needed at a price that I could afford. Then I visited Amazon and found these. At a little over a dollar each, the price was certainly right (less than half of what they were selling for locally), and the heavyweight plastic sounded like a good bet.I'm so glad I purchased them! After a year of steady use (and not just a little abuse from being tossed into a box and thrown in a closet three times a week), the folders still look brand new and are (miraculously) undamaged. The sheets of paper inside, which I inserted into Samsill protectors, are all crisp and clean and unbent. I couldn't be more happy with these sturdy plastic folders, and I'm pleased to be able to recommend them to you.

I purchase these folders every year for my students and they are quality folders. When I purchased them this year, I didn't need to use them right away since I had extra folders left over from previous years. However, when I did need to use them and opened the box of new YELLOW folders, they were BLUE folders in a box marked yellow. I was VERY disappointed because the return date had expired. Can someone tell me what I need to do to get the color I ordered?
