Carhartt Men's Heavyweight Force Liner Glove

These glove liners add quite a bit of warmth to winter gloves and allow you to slip a glove off and manipulate a phone screen without your fingers being exposed to the weather. They are comparable to the aluminized astronaut glove liners we used to have.

I don't like gloves but sometimes it's so cold you need some protection. These are very thin, as I expected, but they do keep the wind off your hands and don't cause any obstruction. I keep them in my Jeep and hope they continue to come in "handy" lol when needed.

Great but very thin

I was really just looking for a large pair of liners for under my wool mittens. These are probably meant as liners under your work gloves because these are definitely not meant to be standalone gloves - so don't buy them for that.That being said, they are perfect liners. They are thin but feel pretty sturdy, The stitching seems a bit wide, but they are $20. They have the touch screen fingertips so I can slip off my outer gloves and use the phone without exposing my bare hand to the cold.However - 5 stars for sizing. I actually wear a 3XL glove - but that's very difficult to find. I bought the 2XL and the finger length is perfect. The palm width is just a bit too small. But I expected worse for a 2XL. So maybe they run a little big... or maybe they just do sizing correctly.Buy for sizing and use as a base layer/liner - don't buy as normal glove or a work glove.

To preface, I purchased these gloves in January of '23. At the time of writing this its 4-Mar-2025. I've gotten some good use out of them in that time. They're functional enough that they don't feel cumbersome when I have them on and the touch screen capable fingertips work perfectly. Not to mention they go almost unnoticed in my pockets when not in use. So much so that I thought I lost them on a few different occasions. Only to find them again the next time I wore the coat I forgot them in. Thats about all the good things I can say about them aside from the color being pretty accurate to the product photos. Gloves being gloves, and hands being hands, they will get dirty and unsanitary. The first time I washed them (cold cycle - air dry), the rubberized fingertips began to come ondone around the edges as seen in the photos. It got worse over time and they even started to crack. Overall, they're a good value. Just keep in mind that if you intend to use them as often as I did (almost daily during winter) then you'll be in the market for some new gloves in a few years. These are going in the donation bin. You served me well.

Carhardt really went down in quality. I really only used these for chilly night walks. A hole formed in the finger after 2 months. I dont think Ill ever buy Carhardt again. My last pair of work gloves I bought from them split at the stitching on the side.

Bought them as gloves for my boyfriend who works outdoors and didn’t realize they were liners, however he said they are still warm and nice. He has big hands and the size I got him actually fit which is rare! Great quality
