I've read some of the previous reviews for this item from this seller and other sellers here on Amazon... As far as I am concerned, it is, for the price, an excellent walking cane. Sure, there are some very minor issues - for example, when assembled, the cane is not absolutely perfectly straight because the brass joints cause ever-so-slight misalignments (hardly noticeable to the eye - and in no way affecting the purpose or abilities of the cane) - but that is because it is made from sections of tapered steel tube with brass joints - no manufacturer is ever going to produce a cane that will be absolutely perfect when made in sections like this.Personally speaking, the price of this cane is such that I was expecting much shoddier workmanship and inferior materials - for reference, I priced an Irish Blackthorn walking cane which was nothing more than a length of Blackthorn (Prunus spinosa) with part of the rootstock shaped into a ball type handle, finished with a lacquer and a copper ferrule on the tip of the cane's base - and that was going for around $300 everywhere I looked. I originally settled instead for a Cold Steel™ Blackthorn cane which is made from polyurethane and cost $38 (I got it at a discount rate - they're usually around $60)... However, that Cold Steel™ Blackthorn cane is a little too cumbersome and bulky for when I have to attend lodge in business attire - being disabled, and needing a cane for the most part, while being of extremely limited budget tends to set some challenges to purchasing a quality cane that can be used for true purpose (supporting my weight while I hobble about) and that has an elegant appearance... this cane did not disappoint me... Yes, I agree with some of the other reviews that there are some (very) minor blemishes or other cosmetic issues, but at the price point of this cane, you are getting an amazing bargain... you want perfection? Be prepared to pay hundreds or even thousands of dollars... but if you want a good looking, strong (yet relatively light), all metal cane then look no further - you won't be disappointed.

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my father and I have yet to give it to him but it appears to be well made and is heavy duty. I was concerned that it might not be as nice based on one other review that stated it was perfect for their costume. My only concern is that I wonder if it will stayed screwed together while in use. I went ahead and gave it five stars as I can't mark it down based on my concern.

My knob/ handle came off soon after I got it. I even tried to monkey glue them still came apart, I need a walking stick for medical purposes not esthetics.

Beautiful Cane. My husband sports it proudly.

It works great and feels solid. However, since it comes in three sections, it tends to come loose at the connections.

can not be tighten fully without getting loose and wobbly again.
