If you haven't tasted this, you haven't had a gin and tonic
Tried this to replace the crappy pre-mixed version sold at supermarkets for gin and tonics. It is a mighty step up: it adds complexity, a very delicate bitterness, and a background sweetness that is nothing like the tangy, artificial sweetness in the tonic mix at the store. The Brits built their empire on this stuff because it was an easy way to take down malarial medication (quinine). After tasting the real thing, I can see why they survived the tropics! A little G&T mixed with this tonic syrup every evening before dinner would keep me in good spirits too.In practical terms, a little goes a long way, and you will need to be ready to mix to taste. We make 2-4 ounce gin and tonics and find we need about one bottle a month, coupled with 12 cans of Q club soda. That's about 24 gin and tonics per little bottle of syrup, for those keeping track at home. Q Drinks, Q Club, Spectacular Club Soda, 12 Ounce Slim Can (Pack of 12)

Disappointed
This its expensive and just simply disappointing when it comes to cost and product. May be alright if in a high roller club, but not at all worth the money for home use. I read the reviews and I just don't feel the same.

Maybe not the least expesinsive option, but it's tasty!
Our household has migrated from the ready-to-serve (RTS) bottle and can variety of store-bought tonic to syrups. We found that the unused portions fromthese conventional vessels went flat quickly and we were tossing out lots of flat, boring national and store brand tonics. This is not your typical G&T mixer - has a more subtle, complex taste profile. Recipe on the bottle is spot-on, and makes a delicious G&T (or virgin tonic for that matter). We may not be saving much compared to partially-used RTS versions, but are pleased with the results (using a Sodastream to carbonate, such as the Sodastream Fountain Jet Soda Maker Starter Kit)

Not what I'd normally associate with tonic
This one has some kind of floral perfumey taste to it, definitely strange for a tonic syrup. I am sure some will like it, but it's way way different than say a glass of Schweppes tonic water. It has a distinct floral taste to it and it didn't augment pleasantly the two gins that I tried with it (Blue Sapphire and Citadelle).

Tasty, not bitter
Tasty! And not bitter. So if you like dry dry gin and very bitter things, you might not like this. But if you like old fashions, you might enjoy this tonic syrup. Also a nice perk up for iced tea.

One of the best artisanal tonics I've ever tried
This is my favorite tonic - hands down. I've also tried the "regular" (non-barrel aged) version, and it's *very* tasty, but this is still my favorite (and worth the extra money in my opinion).
