RolodexMesh Collection Drawer Organizer, Black (22131)

I have a lot of clutter on my desk, and as I was looking to revamp my whole desk area, I decided to remove my keyboard from the built-in keyboard pull-out under my desk, since I am too lazy to pull out and use the keyboard and end up typing on my laptop keyboard instead. I decided to move the keyboard up on the desk itself and use the slider as my "drawer". So starts the search for a desk organizer.I liked the fact that this organizer is made of sturdy steel net design, so I know it will last long and cleaning will be a snap. Plus it has wide enough space to store 12" rulers, a couple of scientific calculators, and of course, tons of pens. The smaller compartments are convenient for Post-Its, small tape dispensers, and other office stuff.Just note that the dividers are fixed, so if you want a drawer organizer that you can customize to fit your needs, this is not the one for you. But for basic storage of small to large supplies, this is a great fit.

I work for a hotel and I purchased this to use there. The drawer organizer that we had previously was relatively small, I decided to purchase this one due to the dimensions of the small, square spaces. I was looking for something that would hold our room key cards and envelopes well and it looks as though I have found it!I like this design for many reasons, firstly with the mesh design it will be much easier to clean out compared to more solid materials. Working in a space where several other people work, there is bound to be bits of dust and dirt getting into things, with this it'll be much easier to keep it clean. Also, with the size of the two larger compartments, there is ample space for everything that we keep in the drawer. Not only can we fit all of our writing utensils into one compartment, we can keep larger things such as our scissors in the other, which is something we couldn't do with our smaller organizer. As I mentioned previously, I was looking for an organizer that would hold our key cards and envelopes. The four smaller compartments are perfect, I like that this comes with a little insert for one of the smaller compartments because it's great for holding paper clips.Overall, this is a wonderful drawer organizer, it's a tid bit larger than I was expecting, but it is absolutely perfect for what I was needing it for.

Pros: Large, durable and stylish

Be sure to measure your drawer before ordering this--it's likely bigger than you're anticipating. I did measure, so I knew it was it going to take up nearly my entire drawer, but I couldn't be happier that it does. Finally, the drawer is organized! It's a breath of fresh air, a relief, a joy, wonderful! I have tape in one compartment, pens in another, stamps in another, address labels in another--you get the idea. Every time I open the drawer, I know exactly where everything is. In fact, I could now open the drawer with my eyes closed and find whatever I need. It's so much better than when I had to dig around looking for one item--sometimes even having to empty almost the entire contents of the drawer to find that one item. Gone are those frustrating days. Hooray!

The organizer fits perfect. I might have maybe a quarter of an inch left of space in the drawer. Looks like it was made specifically for my drawer. I did add little rubber pads on the front and back of it. With the organizer so close to the walls of the drawer, if I open/close the drawer too fast/hard, it will slide that 1/4 inch and hit the walls making a metal sound. By adding the pads, it took away that sound.I took away one star because of the price. Not that $13 breaks the bank, but I found the exact same item at local "Office" store. Same size, same look, same everything for cheaper. Only difference, it didn't have the "Rolodex" brand name. Felt like I was paying extra for the name. Regardless, the price difference wasn't enough for me to take the time return this item. So I will keep it.

When I got a new for me (actually used high-quality office) desk for my home office, I bought one of these wire mesh drawer dividers and gave it a try. I was so pleased with the first wire mesh drawer divider that I purchased two more. They really don't do any better job of organizing than other drawer dividers but over time crumbs and other debris build up and with the mesh drawer divider tidying up can usually be accomplished by lifting the wire mesh drawer divider and giving it a little shake to drop the debris into the drawer and then you move the wire mesh divider out of the way without removing the contents and easily wipe the empty drawer clean - a real time saver.

This Rolodex organizer was a great price and I couldn't resist ordering it. I order supplies for my department and I know Rolodex items are high quality and usually very pricey!I don't really need it in my office and it's large enough to use as a Cutlery organizer in my kitchen. But it would also work beautifully in a workshop for small tools or parts or in a hobby room to organize crafting supplies. I may have to order more!

This drawer tidy is great. It is deep and larger than most, so hold more and is a very effective tool to help me stay organised and keep my office tidy.The only negative note, is that it is too wide to fit across a standard drawer width, so had to be inserted length ways.
