Great value
Had a few times before and always great. Don't actually even need to replace them as often as it says, rinse out and Reuse a few times. Good value for money

Expensive for what you get.
Not cheap for a couple tiny bits of sponge. You could make these from pond sheets so much easier and cheaply. However they work. They fit without cutting. Plus. Sponge only filters donβt really do a very good job for anaerobic / aerobic filtration. They are only really good for mechanical filtration.

Good value but the attached carbon is annoying
This filter pads are great value when compared to other types of filters I have used in the past. However the carbon is completely attached to the filter floss, so cannot be removed. There are a lot of situations where carbon does need to be removed, such as medicating a tank, so this is very inconvenient. It would be better if the carbon and filter floss were separate.
