Works like a charm and the action is silky smooth
These hinges are heavy and well built. However I'm not sure if the included bearings are stainless because while we were building our gate, we left these outside (installed) and it rained. When I eventually got around to getting the whole gate powder coated, I took it off and dropped the bearings out, but noticed that the outer layer had already suffered some corrosion. To be fair, we hadn't yet put grease it them, but for only being exposed to weather for about 2 weeks, it seemed rather quick.I ended up buying new stainless bearings and of course we greased the heck out of them, so I have no more corrosion concerns.The action on these are so smooth, just touching the gate causes it to move with seemingly no resistance, so I have to be careful not to let it slam open or closed!

Excellent weld-on hinges.
These hinges are made of heavy stock and designed to support a heavy load. Our 5’x5’ gate weighs nearly 200 pounds. The hinges are designed for up to 950. They come completely powder coated, which requires you grind away where the weld will go, which is fine. I am barely passable as a welder, but they are installed and work perfectly. I really appreciate the grease fittings on the caps which allow maintenance of the joint. The hinges ride on an internal ball bearing which makes them silky smooth in operation.

Stong hinges and able to grease easily
High quality stgrease. Best it's a weldable part. Easy to install and great for all large swinging gates. Will last many years with just a few pumps of greese. Makes gates open easily if installed correctly.

Good product
Works great, installed on tailgate of trailer. I don't ever load anything heavy on tailgate, but it is nice to know that I have the option if I wanted to. Definitely good value.
