Grodan Mini Cubes Rockwool Hydroponic Grow Media + THCity Gloves - 2 Gallon Bag

This works for me. Some have issues with it but I use it with orchids and it’s been fine.

I have ordered many of the 8L bags of this rockwool, and I am never disappointed. My plants love it! The rockwool is cut into tiny cubes with which you just loosely fill your net pots/planters. I usually mix it with hydroton for added aeration & drainage. This combo is my go-to for any plant, and it has never failed! Sure, you could just buy any shape of rockwool and cut it up into tiny pieces yourself to get the same effect, but the fact that it is offered this way for a reasonable price is so convenient (and less messy)! Each bag comes with a pair of nice, black gloves that are thicker than your usual latex gloves, so they provide adequate protection against the possibility of catching a piece of fiberglass while handling the medium. I absolutely recommend this product for hydroponics, or if you're just looking for an alternative to using soil for your plants.

This isn't two gallons. It's one gallon at best in a plain white bag. That's why it's the cheapest. I needed two gallons, not a half scam.

Read reviews. It’s been used before! Has lots of dead bugs and eggs all over it. If i checked sooner I would have returned it. Stay away!

Ordered 2 gallons .Was not 2 gallons.Also had a very odd odor to them,an old smoke musty smell.Botton of shipping bag filled with what appeared to be bug carcasses. Nasty product!!

DO NOT BUY. cubes were covered in dead bugs. it's clear somebody is just cutting up their used/defective rockwool slabs into these 1/4 inch cubes.

These are recycled it looks like they came in a resealable plastic bag and had bugs and vermiculite in mine
