We actually loose money and all returns, as it is very labour intensive to handle and re-stock products, with many processes involved.~ The Product needs to be checked and inspected to ensure it's still as New and can be Resold as New.~ The tags and packaging needs to be checked and in a number of cases need to be replaced.~ A New Bar Code label needs to be raised and put on the product~ The record of the return then needs entering against the original order on Amazon.~ Amazon stock level needs manually adjusting.~ Our own sales records needs to be amended~ The product then needs to be re-stocked in the warehouse~ A refund then needs to be processed~ In most cases our stock control system would have already re-ordered a replacement item, so increase in stock / cashflow~ Fees would have been paid to Amazon for the original sale, which are non-refundableetc etcAll these costs are incurred despite no fault of ourselves.As a Company we have had to deduct the Amazon's Fees / charges and return costs for unwanted items.£13 is charged as handling fee on goods around £30.
