Musgrave Pencil Cov Inc Grading Pen, Red/Blue, Fine Pt. School Supplies

Sooooo I paid over $5 for one pen that the red ink doesn’t even work! I was under the impression that this order was for 10-12 pens and I was hoping they would be in working condition! However my expectations were and EPIC FAILURE on the behalf of this seller! Lesson learned and will NEVER 👎🏼 Purchase from this seller again!

The first thing is that I thought I was purchasing a dozen of the pens which was not true. Over $8 only buys you ONE pen. The second thing is that I literally wrote less than one sentence with the blue end and I can no longer get the blue ink to write anymore. I was ordering this pen because I have had one of the swirl pens for over 10 years now and I was trying to replace it but apparently, they are not available any longer and I thought this one would be a suitable replacement. If the pen had been a good pen, I might have paid the $8.59 for it even if it were for one of them but now, I wouldn't give you a dime for any quantity of them. Absolutely one of the worst purchases I have ever made!

It's a decent substitute for what I wanted, however, the ink dries up quickly. I am a middle school English teacher, and after only a week of grading, the pen was dead. No way can I buy and use a pen a week! That's just stupid. Also, and I know this is a minor detail, but the paint indicating what end of the pen you're using rubs off after about a day of writing. It then becomes a crap shoot when I write in my grade book if I've got the right end or not. I'll be using up what I have, and then I guess I'll have to search for something else.

Ink doesn't flow well. Skips constantly. Not easy flow -- drags. Behaves like very old stock.

I got this pen and it didn't work, the red side worked ok (very lightly when I would write) the blue side never worked. I gave it a couple days but still nothing. So I had amazon exchange it for another one. When the second replacement pen came the same thing happened!! SO DISAPPOINTED, I thought maybe it was just a bad pen with the first one, however after receiving a second one and having that one not write at all makes me think that its just a poor quality company that makes the pens!!!

I would have done a 0 Star review but Amazon requires at least one star, and I guess cause the pen sort of works, the one star is valid. The pen came with a giant white sticker around it, when I peeled off the sticker the paint on the pen came off with it. The pen already had little nicks in it before the additional sticker damage. It does write, but not very well. I can’t believe I wasted $8 on this. You’re better off just taping two pens together.

One side did not work.The finish was peeled off.

Bought 5 of these and none of the blue ink works on any of them.
