Fair Price, Fits Perfect, Works as Expected
My trunk lights didn't work and I found that it was a broken metal strip on the inner right side of the latch. While trunk lights are not critical for me, it was bugging me so I replaced it. At about 25 bucks, I feel it is a fair price to fix the lights and even though the latch was fine! Installation was easy. Within 15 minutes of it arriving, it was installed. And a few minutes of that time was me trying to find the interior button-screw-thingy that flew off when I was removing the trunk-lid liner. The tools you'll need are a) clip remover for your trunk liner (if you have one) b) flat tip screwdriver c) 10mm ratchet or something to loosen the nuts with. They hand unscrew once you break them loose! Results may vary!

My trunk would not open on my chrysler 300. Son checked and said I needed new mechanism. Ordered this, he installed it in 10 minutes, and now im happy,y trunk button works again! Easy fix!

Install took 10 mins and problem solved
Used this replace the latch on my 2018 chrysler 300. It would make the noise like it was trying to work but wouldn't pop the trunk. Watched a video on YouTube and it took me 10 mins to replace the part. And now my trunk works perfect. Dealership was trying to charge me $500 for something that took $25 and barely any time. 😑 Can't speak on durability yet but I'll come back if it goes out.
