Italian steel
I love Lionsteel knives, each are crafted, feel great in hand and made with quality materials. Sharp right out of the box, comes with a leather sheath and has micarta scales, feels good in hand and I've not noticed any hotspots. Sharp right out of the box and is light in hand. Made with Sleipner steel giving a rockwell of 60-61. Lionsteel knives are high quality, and a value for the price. Get one today and be the envey of all your friends and family. I highly recommend this knife and Lionsteel products.

Sheath is misunderstood
I just wanna start off by saying the knife itself is absolutely beautiful and built like a brick poo house. I was skeptical of the Olivewood, because I thought it would be too light, but it actually has a really beautiful grain. really good grip the way they machined those grooves into the wood is spectacular. now the sheath is most certainly misunderstood, it is beautiful, but it does begin to unravel the stitching at the ends. What I did is take a lighter and run it over the stitching, wherever it can unfurl very lightly just to kind of heat it up, slightly melt it, and then quickly push it down with my thumb to fuse it. now I’m not saying burn it I’m just saying, melt it a little bit and push it in. do that and it will never unfurl. Beyond that it’s actually a quality leather sheath.

The most comfortable grip
I was searching for the best fixed blade for me. I bought this one and its smaller version, the M4. Both have an incredibly comfortable grip with no hot spots. I am truly amazed by the quality for the price. Sharp as a razor out of the box. The leather sheaths are beautifully well made and comfortable to wear on a belt. The retention snap is very very tight, at first. After a couple days, it fits more easily and is lengthened through natural leather stretching to perfect length for easy snapping and unsnapping.

Wow
I love knifes and have a little problem because I buy a lot of them. This lionsteel M5 is one of the best knives I have. It’s beautiful and high quality. The sheath is one of the best I have ever seen. Full grain leather double stitched love this knife.

Good Bushcraft knife steel and easy on the wallet.
I prefer a convex or Scandi grind but the Lionsteel does really well and holds an edge for a long time.

Almost Perfect!
This would’ve received a five star rating from me, as it hits all but one mark for me. If you want a good all around camp/bushcraft knife, this does all but one thing. No sharp spine. If that’s important to you for use with a ferro rod, than this knife is gonna miss that mark. If it’s not important to you, you’ll love the rounded spine. The steel is also easy enough to sharpen. I recommend a strop for this and most knives. If you want a lion steel with a sharp pomel for fire steels, check out the b40/41. But honestly, the knife that truly dominates all bushcraft knives on Amazon is the Casstrom No 10 forest knife. I prefer it to my LT Wright Outback and my Bark River Aurora. Is K720 as good as CPM3V? No. Good enough, though. Hashtag Mora knives suck.

Love it!
Ergonomics and the blade are great! Perfect size for what I needed and not quite as expensive as my Fallknivens so I don't stress so much about abusing it.
