I am so glad that the makers of Dove at last created this beauty bar as I use it exclusively on my face and this particular blend is better than any of the previous formulae. The scent is caramel and makes my bathroom smell great - I have taken it all out of the boxes and put it in my linen cupboard. It has the normal soft smoothness that you expect from Dove but then some - it seems more like an old fashioned cold cream than soap and I do find that anything else makes my skin sting. This particular box of Dove is great value as long as you buy it as an add-on and have Prime. Cheaper than anywhere else I was able to scope out. The product is nicely packed to avoid any transit damage and everything sent is recyclable.

Maybe I got a sloppy QC batch, but every box seems glued together crooked and are kind of beat up. The Dove impressions on the top of the bars are sometimes cut funny and look "off". I don't know, maybe they just put the minor defects in these packages to get rid of them. Product works as expected though. Good soap.

I have dry and sensitive skin and living in the Northeast, I usually have to use a lot of lotions during winter. These soap feels rich and the shea butter leave my skin well moisturized without feeling greasy. The soap smells great, not too feminine for a guy to use. The price is also slightly better than CVS.

I tend to use a lot of higher end beauty products, but this is still my favorite soap. My skin is happy with it and it smells great. Any time I try one of the other scents I just come back to this one. It's also very mild - I'm sensitive to a lot of fragrances but no problems here.

If you have never experienced the BENEFITS of SHEA Butter, I highly recommend using Dove Purely Pampering Shea Butter with a few times a week, using SHEA ORGANIC pressed Shea Butter. Amazon sells a Great brand for 12.95 for a huge jar, DONT BE FOOLED BY SIZE, its a paste, but like butter it melts into your skin. GREAT for Burns, Minor Abrazons and DRY Skin, Revives DETAL and COLOR of Older Tatoos and if you have Dry or Cracked FEET this combo is a MIRACLE worker.

This is the only soap that my mom will use but it is so hard to find and expensive. It is very good and keep the skin moisturized, it also helps with all skin tones and types and it has a very pleasant smell.

My mom has sworn by Dove since I was a kid. After hearing much praise from my dermatologist, I joined the cult and started to purchase Dove as well. I have very sensitive skin and many soaps irritate it. This is by far my favorite Dove soap due to the fact that it smells pleasant and makes my skin feel soft and clean without irritation.
