I have taken a few years off of golf and recently started playing again. My old set of clubs were stolen, so I was in the market forSome new ones. I checked out all the full sets for under $200 and decided on the Palm Springs clubs after reading a couple of reviews. I couldnt be happier with the clubs. The driver is oversized and took a little getting used to. The hybrids in place of your low irons are perfect for me, because I cannot hit the 3/4 irons to save my life.All and all I am very happy with my new set of clubs. They arrived in about 4 days and I have been playing ever since.

First of all, I must mention I am a complete beginner in golf and after doing some research on the Internet I decided to buy this Club Set. The clubs are light, resistant, well finished and good quality. I have received very good comments from experienced golfers as well as from my golf course partners. The only thing to improve is the rain hood, which is made from a very thin material that does not resist the weight of the clubs when carrying them causing its deformation and breaking. I think this is something very easy to solve by using a thicker material. Anyhow it is still a very worthy purchase.Antes que nada debo decir que soy principiante en los temas del golf y después de hacer algunas búsquedas en Internet me decidí por este juego de palos. Son livianos, resistentes, bien terminados y de buena calidad. He recibido muy buenos comentarios de parte de golfistas experimentados así como de mis colegas en el campo. Lo único para mejorar es la cubierta de protección contra la lluvia, la cual está elaborada en un material muy delgado que no resiste el peso de los palos cuando se cargan, causando la deformación y ruptura de la misma. Creo que esto es fácil de solucionar usando un material más grueso. De cualquier forma, esta es aún una compra que vale la pena.

not wroth the money. Broke on the very first time trying them out

After playing for many years, I had to give up golf about 5 years ago due to a medical problem. I sold my clubs. I got cleared to play again this spring and I needed something to get started with. Initially, I looked for used clubs at stores and on Craigslist (Phoenix, AZ). Both were disappointing. Store items were very high priced and all had substantial wear. CL led me to chase all over town for items of exaggerated condition. Then I stumbled across this set of Palm Springs clubs, bag and putter included, for an incredible internet price of $199. Delivery took two days. I really can't believe the quality, especially after using them for two driving range visits and two 9 hole play dates. All clubs have graphite shafts and I would judge them to be on the stiffer side of medium. The shafts have a nice metallic gold appearance, unlike most graphite clubs which are charcoal black. Club heads are standard chromed steel with grooved and sandblasted facings. Irons have a standard hollow back head design. Grips are the standard composite. The set I got included an oversized driver, standard sized 3-wood, 3 and 4 fairway woods, 5-9 irons, wedge, and putter. The nylon bag is actually better than the one I used for a number of years before quitting. My only comment about the bag is that with such lightweight clubs, the bag is top heavy and needs a counter weight at the bottom to keep it steady. If you're looking for a pro-quality set, you need to keep looking, but this set would be a good choice for seniors, any beginner, as well as club players who typically shoot 80 or higher. Palms Springs clubs used to be made in Palms Springs, believe it or not, but now come from China (of course). These will be much like the old PS clubs, if you ever had any. This was a great find.

These were my first set of golf clubs. Thr irons are well made, the hybrids should be helpful for most beginners, and the woods are decent. In this price range, all drivers are of questionable quality, but this one will suffice. I still use these clubs today, though i have replaced the woods and added some wedges. Now, I'm a 4 handicap and these clubs still work for me. Nicer, more expensive clubs might be better in some ways, but this set has everything you need to become a great golfer. I highly recommend them

I wanted to start golfing recently and this set seemed to be a good starting point. I have only played a few times before buying the set, but I haven't had any issues. The driver seems a bit long for me, 5'7", but I haven't had anything sized. The bag is great with the stands and two shoulder straps. There is a strap to tie the stand legs together if you are using a cart and there is plenty of room for all of my gear with the various pockets. I look forward to putting this set to use for years to come.

These clubs arrived very well packed in bubble wrap and plastic film to protect the finish which, I might add, is superb. The photos don't do them justice. They are well balanced and look like real high end clubs and for a fraction of the cost. The bag is very well made and the bag stand works extremely well. I've been out to the range several times and have experienced no problems with them at all. I couldn't be more pleased with this set.

If you're just learning how to play this isn't a bad set to start out with. However I did notice that on the graphite clubs the club heads weren't as securely fastened as one would expect which really messes with the accuracy of your plays. I also had a problem while at the driving range where my pitching wedge broke where the shaft meats the club head. All in all I know you get what you pay for and this set most certainly is cheap in price and quality. I found that when going for a starter set it's better to get them used off of CL or ebay.
