Aircast SP (Short Pneumatic) Walker Brace / Walking Boot Replacement Foam Liner with Insole, Small

This was a perfect replacement liner for my aircast walker boot

Bought this as a second liner so I could hand wash one while wearing the other. Overall seemed same as the original except it was more narrow in the calf area and makes it harder to close. It is also about 3/4” shorter at top of boot. I bought a women’s size small.

Although it was not in the product description, this is an exact match for an Aircast Air Select Stanadard Walker. I was able to replace the worn out original insert with this and restore my aircast for another round of use. Mine is a size large, and the "new" liners were out of stock. I took a chance on one of the ones listed as "used/ re packaged". It is just fine. Definitely not used. Probably a return or something with damaged packaging. In any case, I am happy. This saved me from having to buy a new cast.

Please BEWARE THIS IS NOT for AIRCAST AIRSELECT This liner fits the older model of Aircast walking boot, called AIRCAST SP WALKER. It is about 1.5-2 inches shorter than the Aircast AirSelect boot. Unfortunately, DJO does not make/sell a replacement liner for the Aircast AirSelect model of boot. WHY NOT??? Seems really unfair!!! Now I am uncomfortable in my boot, as the hard plast rubs against the back of my leg when walking. I am wearing knee-hi socks (rolled over at the top for extra thickness) to try and compensate, but it's just not the same. If you use the AIRCAST SP WALKER boot- this is for you. It comes with the "inner sole" piece, as well. At least the sole part fits my model, in my size (Small).
