Belltech964ND Lowering Kit with Nitro Drop 2 Shock fits 2009-2018 Dodge Ram 1500

I went back to 24's from 26's on my Ram. The 24's just looked to small for the wheel well gap. I decided to lower the truck and after research I landed on this kit. The installation was easy. It took about 3 hours. The overall look is much better. The ride quality isn't as good as as what I had but it's not bad. Kind of reminds me of my teenage years, riding around in my lowrider. The ride is stiffer but not bouncy. ( We used to cut the springs ). I recommend this kit. 4.5 stars because the ride quality could be a little better.

Great kit easy to install

The install was pretty easy. Maybe took about 3 hours to install front and back. Looks great and sits level. Took my 2016 Ram right to the alignment shop and got the alignment done. Next I took it for a drive to test it out and make sure it rides nice. At lower speeds I noticed a small side to side wobble, nothing major. As I accelerate the wobble in the rear increases to a "death wobble". Tried it a few more times and it kept doing it. As long you are very conservative with acceleration no issue. If you are wanting to "get on it" be ready for a ride that will make your backside pucker.Contacted Belltech's customer service. Braden advised that I need to purchase an upgraded shock to resolve the issue. I asked if the shocks they sold me are no good and if we needed to swap them. Braden advised that we couldn't swap them because I already used the ones they sold me. Braden also recommended buying a pan hard bar. No effort by customer service to help fix the issue other than trying to sell me upgraded and additional parts that may or may not resolve the issues.I would not recommend this product to anyone. I'm now in the process of doing lots of research and having to spend additional money to make the vehicle safe to drive. Look up "rear wobble after lowering Ram" You will see tons of discussions of people using this product and having the same issue.

its cool, wish it was lower but, its ok for now. ride is smooth, handling is great. overall i like it better than stock! before and after pics posted.

Excellent lowering kit for price only issue was that it over cambered which is to be expected

Fairly easy install, instructions included. Rear shock were the worst part of the install. Top shock bolt is a pain to get to. I retained the front stock shocks as recommended by others. Very happy with result and rides like stock truck.

throw the shocks away right out of the box. you would be better off to invest in a IHC kit instead of Belltech. They are low quality
