A friend convinced me to join the 2024 Knox-Johnson Cup Sailing Race, and while preparing my gear, these Helly-Hansen Ahiga V4 HP Boat Shoes came highly recommended—and they didn’t disappoint!These shoes were fantastic on the clipper ship. The rubber traction outsole gave me a secure grip, allowing me to walk around the deck confidently without slipping. They’re also lightweight and breathable, which was a big plus during long hours on board. Even after getting wet, they dried out quickly, keeping my feet comfortable.I highly recommend these shoes for anyone needing reliable, high-performance footwear for sailing or other water-related activities.

They were a little tight when I first tried them on, but they are fine now. Really like the fit, arch support and grip. I hope they last!

I coach sailing and purchased these as an alternative to flip flops in the boat. They are good quality and have so far lasted 2 season. The traction is decent on fiberglass skiffs and they don’t make your feet hot in warm weather. The drain water well and stay tied. My only complaint is they run a bit narrow at the wide part of the foot and do not give like mesh or leather. I do have a wider foot so this would probably be a non-issue for others.

These HH shoes really do the job. I went sailing AND canyoning (what?? look it up) and these shoes were great. they held strongly on the teak deck as well as on rocks underwater. They dried in seconds, and I could power wash them to get them looking as good as new. Perfect for the job
