I've been satisfactorily using this product for decades, for its distinctive fragrance, quality and value.

I was really looking forward to the soap because I remember it 30 years ago. I also have used it in the last 10 or 15 years as well. I'm not sure what happened to this soap but it does not smell the same. It's based on the same fragrance but this is very deep it almost has an evergreen turpentine smell. It's not horrible but it's certainly not good I can see why people are writing that it's a good bug deterrent. I'll keep that in mind for July and August when I need a soap that I choose for the bugs not the fragrance

The smell of Irish spring really deterrs flies!!! Great for camping tables, outside, cut into cubes put into those windows way up. My sister has a very tall cabin with huge windows that cannot be reached facing the sun all day. She lives by a cattle farm and flies are a nightmare! Put some cubes up there. No one can see them is put them on somthing just incase it gets too hot.

I hate the smell of this cheap crap!
