Great looking watch for a great price. Mostly durable, with impressive accuracy and little need for readjustment. This watch goes with most anything casual and can even be dressed up a little, although it is not exactly something I would wear with a suit. The size and design of the watch is understated enough that it isn't glaring and thus can be thrown on without much thought. I've still received quite a few compliments on it though!Customer service from Timex is great as well. My first watch had the stem snap off after a few months when it caught on my backpack. I sent it in an envelope to Timex with a note explaining what had happened, and within two weeks they sent me a new watch for no charge. Very impressed by their speed and willingness to help.While I am sure you can find a nicer watch for more money, the improvements would likely be too minor to justify the money for me. Highly recommend the Expedition Scout!

I love this watch. I've had two of them and will not feel comfortable in another casual style watch. I'm not afraid to take this timex anywhere. The band is comfortable and dressy enough to wear with almost any outfit. The face and case of the watch are durable enough for me to not worry taking it on hikes. I even do some dirty work with this watch on sometimes. My only gripe is the leather style on these bands stain easily and its hard to get it out. However, that's not worth a mark down in my opinion. Great watch, I would recommend to anyone who's thinking about getting one!

If you like basic watches this is the one for you. It’s a great Timex watch and an easy and reliable way to tell time.The color scheme or really nice. It’s a nice light blue on the inside, with light beige markings. The leather strap is a medium hue of beige too. I enjoy these neutral colors that go with everything.The strand is kind of a knock off leather, so as time progresses, the strand gets darker and dirtier.I like this watch and I love the company. I plan on buying a couple more down the road.

I thought after I read the reviews that it was a lemon, but I spotted a small piece of plastic that had broken off on the inside of the crown. It is relatively cheap, but in my opinion, is a good quality. It is one of my favorites for daily wear out of my 10 watch collection.

I waited a few months before writing a review. I was looking for something that wasn't flashy, was masculine and didn't look cheap. I also wanted an understated classic look. This is that watch. No cheap looking materials here. I don't like the glossy black leather look on watch bands so I opted for this brown leather band. The band will start to patina nicely after a couple months.So far so good on all accounts. As others have noted, it is a loud ticker. Like time bomb in a movie loud if you are in a quiet room. Fine during the day but I can't have it in the same room when sleeping.Update: An observation after a few more months is that this watch seems to lose a minute every month or so. Also the band is aging faster than I would have expected. It has stretched out a few millimeters. Still happy with the watch though.

Let me start by saying this is a very good watch. I had been looking at it for months and I was excited to buy and wear it. This being a casual watch, the grey face makes it ideal for most every casual outfit. However there is a problem. I have purchased the watch and exchanged it twice, the problem being the indiglo feature. For the first watch I received the face did not light up completely, there was a small section at the bottom of the six that did not light up. For this reason I exchanged it and the second watch was the same. For the second watch I tried to look past the fact that it didn't light up completely, but after about a week the indiglo feature stopped working. I pressed the crown and it just went out like a light bulb. I sent this back and hoped that the third watch I got would be fine, but its the exact same problem! I think amazon may have a defective product with the timex expedition watches. Aside from the indiglo feature, the watch itself works great and with no problems whatsoever. The watch is medium thickness, the roughed leather looks great. Light works well. My only issue is that the watch "clicks" quite loudly. It isn't an issue during the day. But sometimes, I leave it on the side table by my bed, and I can hear it ticking in the middle of the night when everything else is really quiet.
