PentelBK440A WOW! Retractable Ballpoint Pen, 1mm, Black Barrel/Ink (Pack of 12)

I've always had good luck with Pentel. These write smooth and solid where more well known cheap pens don't. Comfortable three sided design. Retracting the tip is different but easily adjusted to. I really these pens except for the sticker on each one which doesn't want to come off.

I like the triangular barrel. It reduces my death-grip on these pens. I disliked the fact that one out of twelve pens refused to write. I do not recommend using a lighter to warm the tip because it will melt the plastic. For the pen you currently use, my advice is to write with it once or twice a week to prevent drying out. I will purchase these again.

I used a pen like this signing the bill at a restaurant. I loved the way it glided. As soon as I got home, I looked for the pen on Amazon. I was happy to find a whole box of them.

Good Pen & Great Value!Comfortable to hold with a subtle triangle of the barrel at the business end of this pen. Balanced in your hand - doesn't shift while in use. The click to open and the lock-release at the side are each unique. It prevents any unintended pen-point retractions. I seem to have difficulty with that with a regular ballpoint pen. I suppose it could be me...

The rubber grip on these is roughly triangular, larger than those offered by typical Bics and Papermates. They're easier for me to get a grip on than a traditional circular barrel grip.The ink flow is smooth although the supply sometimes trips and I have to do a bit of mad scribbling to get the feed started again. (I've found the same on the blue Pentel WOW! pens, reviewed separately.) Other than that, my quibble is with the click extension system, which has failed on me a number of times--both blue and black ink versions. I had to fish the entire push-click assembly out of the pen and re-install it. The ink is very quick-drying, too, and doesn't smudge--which can be a challenge for lefties.

If you’re sick and tired of scratchy super fine points and ink cylinders that run out too fast, I’ve found these medium point (1.0mm) write smoothly, cost less at Amazon in this configuration and last longer.

These are my favorite pens. I am an intern in the hospital so I write orders all day long, and have been through a dozen of these in the past half year. I use exclusively these pens because they flow easily, write well, and DO NOT SMEAR (I am a leftie so this is a big plus for me).There are smoother pens out there, and ink/gel pens may look nicer, but I prefer ballpoint for their reliability. Sometimes gel goes out on me and doesn't write well. These Pentel ones are very reliable.I have purchased my second 12-pack, and at < $0.50 each they are a steal.

Un tratto bello fluido, un po' grosso essendo 0.7, bello scorrevole in ogni situazione.Dura relativamente tanto anche quando si scrive in verticale.Tratto che non sbava, si asciuga velocemente ed ha un colore nero molto carico intenso e bello.Ha una chiusura a scatto che nonostante l'infinito uso anche nei momenti di attesa non si è mai rotto.Oramai è la mia penna da 4 anni, da quando l'ho scoperta non la mollo più.Trovata su amazon ad un prezzo concorrenziale, perchè in cartoleria costa 2 euro il singolo pezzo.Consigliatissima.

I am a private tutor and two of my pupils have writing problems with dyspraxia. They have experienced the benefit of triangular grip pencils, but the older one is now reaching the exam age, having to learn to write in pens. These pens are great for children that have dyspraxia and struggle with holding pens. They are triangular in shape so that they can hold the pen in a much better position without it hurting their hands.
