Great handsaw for the odd job.
Excellent value for a modern handsaw. Blade came true, flat, and sharp. No matter how many powered saws you own there's always a time you either need to just finish a notch cut or cut a beam or timber. For finer woodworking I prefer a non hardened vintage saw, but I've reached for this saw many times for house projects . It recently survived an unintentional run in with a nail, lost a small amount of sharpness but continues to cut.

Fast cutting, Super cheap, And well made.
I have the bigger fine cut saw I bought at the same time as this one and I like this one a hell of a lot better. It cuts tremendously faster and I really can't tell that much difference in the saw marks left behind I do wish it was available in the 24" version like the fine cut but it's still a good saw for the very cheap price. If you're looking at both just get this one it's what you want.

Quality product at a great price!
I saw a piece on How It's Made (Discovery Channel) about the manufacturing process of these saws and was sold immediately. I bought two and am very pleased with the quality and performance of both. On the show they showed two different manufacturing processes. One was far more cookie cutter type assembly and one was quite a bit more labor intensive. Wanting to buy only the kind that attention to detail was emphasized, I called Great Neck and asked how I could tell the difference. They told me all of the saws with wooden handles have been manufactured the slow way. I was happy that the price difference was minimal. This is not to say that the ones with plastic handles are inferior. I think they are made to be sold in packs of 3 or more and not treated with as much care as the wood handled models. Bottom line is that Great Neck makes great saws!

Awesome saw!
I was amazed at the high quality of this saw. It is a huge bargain for the money, performing as well as saws costing several times the price. The blade is extremely sharp and cuts wonderfully. For most who work around the house, this saw is perfect.

Good wood cutting saw
Used this saw to cut some 1x4 and a 2x6 and it worked well. When it's new and sharp it will cut framing lumber. Not the most fun thing to do but was surprised I was able to make a cut in a 2x6. Will see how long it stays sharp at $20 or so it's worth keeping a sharp one around.

Definitely Aggressive
This is definitely an aggressive saw. Cuts like hell, but it removes wood quick. Im pretty amateur at hand tools, but its hard to keep a straight line with it.
