GARGALA Garter belt for Women Simplicity Sexy Socks Suspender for Thigh High Stockings with 4/6 Metal Clips

For something so basic, I didn't think it could impress me this much. The straps are thick and the elastic is strong. The closure that goes around your waist is something unique to me and took me a second to figure out.. it's not what I thought it would be, and is in fact WAY more secure which put my main worries at ease (coming unhooked or pinching my belly during wear). The two ends slide into each other from the top and *snap* shut tightly as if you were opening a book! It's a really clever little mechanism and won't budge while it's on! The suspender clips have great grip and close firmly, the teeth aren't in rows, but rather, in a circle. The range for adjustability everywhere is great. I will mention that the straps connecting to your hosiery seemed rather "loose" while adjusting (meaning it was WAY too easy to slide the adjuster up and down). I needed mine as long as possible cause I wear it high around my waist, so its not an issue in my case, but keeping them at a specific shortened length could prove troublesome.. if worse came to worse, you could always sew the little sliding adjuster into place but that would limit your options a bit. It also allows you to move and/or remove straps from the belt, so if you didn't feel like using 6, you could use 4, or even 2. I was definitely pleasantly surprised when I opened this. Quality is WAY worth it.

Just what I needed

As someone thicker, the adjustability of this garter belt is extremely appreciated, and the clasps are intuitive and hold onto every stocking ive used so far. However, I feel like there must be a way to make the clasps more comfortable against the skin... you just cant wear this out too long, especially if youre sitting down, which can be painful. I know fashion is pain and all that, but i feel like there has to be a better way to go about it

I have a fractured kneecap and have to wear a leg stabilizer for at least 6 weeks. It kept falling down around my ankle. This garter holds it up perfectly.

At first, I am a 42 bust 38 waist 48 hips and put this on and was not happy that it gave me muffin top. I was set on returning it. I thought to myself well let me at least try it on with some stockings and a dress. With stockings, the belt started to shape out even though i had some muffin top it did a really good job holding up my knee highs and thigh highs. The adjustable straps made it easy to adjust where u want the clips to hold up the socks. I showed my boyfriend how I looked and he thought I looked good even with the lil muffin squeeze it gave me. For the price, I was happy. I decided to keep it. The next day I wore them all day and yes they moved around but not too much. It wasnt tight but i think i am as big as you can get to fit in this. This fit exactly around my waist but the straps hooked to socks it brought it down to my lower waist. And my socks stayed up all day and i felt comfortable sitting in this belt too. So all in all, its not a pretty site at first but give it a try, wear it around for a day to see if you like it.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this because it was as simple as being an belt. I figured because it didn’t have the extra fabric it would be best for the warmer seasons. However, I’m finding that the extra fabric on standard garters serve a purpose of a seamless surface under your clothes. This garter belt has good quality clasps but because it’s a belt, it has a tendency of shifting or tugging underneath. Most importantly it gives a muffin top shape because it’s solely on your waist. I feel like in the future this will wear out easily because it doesn’t have real support being just a belt.I don’t like the air pocket that forms between the front of my thigh & the straps when I motion to step. Two straps per leg aren’t as secure as I’d like to feel wearing as a woman with thick thighs. Not to mention the buckle to open/close can be difficult if you have long nails. Overall, the clasps on this are good quality grip but I would suggest going with an standard garter if you need an seamless wear for an formal attire.

I love how adjustable the waist strap and garter straps are, it’s so comforting as well as if I were to lose or gain weight it wouldn’t be hard to adjust the waist band, now the CLIPS were a LIFESAVER for me, get these clipped garter belts, they will last you for a longer period of time than the garter straps (which quite frankly keep unhinging off every so hours for me, could be the quality but I prefer the metal clips) and it’ll save the headache because these clip on to my sort of thin but wintery kind of socks, which is what I was looking for tbh, so I tried them on over my shorts and under my shorts, to see the real feel and I really liked them a lot, trust and believe this is WORTH the purchase, so if your a 17 year old girl like me- who just wants to keep her socks up all year round, THESE bad boys are the things to GET 😍✨
