Mac-Corns Large Microwave Popcorn Maker/Popper Bowl with Lid - Hot Air or PoP with Oil or Butter

I love this popcorn popper. The first couple of times I used it I popped the corn dry, which turned out perfectly, then I added flavour in a different bowl, but as it was dry popped, the flavouring wouldn;t stick unless you add/spray some form of liquid onto the popped corn, possibly soy sauce or water or a little oil or some melted butter or coconut oil etc. It was a bit of a faff and not all the popcorn would be flavoured and some would be too strongly flavoured, so I decided at my next attempt to add coconut oil to the bowl with the kernels. I first melt down the oil to liquid in the bowl, 20 seconds in the mwave, then add the kernels, (I use 30-40g for a single portion as only I eat it) then I mix in 1/4 tsp of Flavacol gold medal popcorn seasoning and mix through the kernels. Set the mwave away for 4 minutes, I stop it half way to shake the bowl, then I stop it about 3.50 mins ocne the corns stop popping, and I end up with perfectly popped, perfectly flavoured popcorn. So much easier than using the hob method. The bowl is very easy to clean. a great purchase! a great low calorie snack. Recommended!NB: My mwave is a flatbed oven, it does not have a turntable. I had read somewhere that you cannot use microwave popcorn poppers in a flatbed mwave, this is row-locks, it works perfectly! 😊

The media could not be loaded. I did not think this would work but I took the chance since I hate buying pocorn for kids thats full of shugar and I am extremely happy I did. Its super easy, super fast and fantastic kit to help your kids eat healthier. I recommend this to anyone.

I have only used this once but I followed the instructions and it worked very well. I used it without oil, sugar or salt and it was very plain. I think a little oil is required to make it less dry. I was very happy with the ease of use and all kernals popped without any burning. I did heat up the microwave first by heating a mug of water, but had not yet tried it without doing that. It was nicely boxed with good Instructions

Can't fault this. Easy to use, easy to clean and folds flat for storage. Doesn't need much corn to fill the bowl with a perfect portion size either.

I like this don’t get me wrong but it is essentially a microwaveable bowl sold for £12.99. That said, now that I’ve got that out of the way, I am a fan and it will make a nice Christmas present. But, for the price, I would have expected at least a few popping corn kernels included for your first use! This does make a great present though and if anything, is more of an experience, reminding us we can make popcorn and sit down for a cosy family film night (we’ve all got bowls in the house but how often do we make popcorn?). The instructions are very clear and simple to use as is the bowl; plus it stores very easily.

I wanted to buy other cheaper brands, am glad I bought British brand!!!Like it reads in the tin, it’s premium silicon. I can’t smell anything else with this other than my popcorn!!!People moaning about the timings and the corns burning.. Haha please!The product clearly comes with 2 - 4 minutes guidance of time. I started microwaving at 2 minutes all the way up.. adding 30 seconds till their popping sound slowed. Please do not start with 4 mins and not expect the corns not to burn! The manufacturer gave guidance with time because of all the difference in power puts of the microwaves.So you got figure out the best times for yours staring with 2 minutes going up..My kids are going enjoy this!!! We both love popcorn

This was easy to use, and popped my corn in the microwave perfectly. Nice that I could do the exact amount of popcorn I wanted.The bowl is made of silicone, so is flexible, which is great as the bowl collapses down for easy storage when not in use.
