Rhode Island Novelty 2.4"(60mm) Metal Coil Spring

This is exactly what I was looking for- a metal coil spring to attach to my bird feeder pole to keep the squirrels off. It has worked perfectly for my needs (I threaded it through so that I could use the existing joint on the pole to hang it but I could have also attached it with a zip tie or something similar).That being said- if you're buying this as a slinky to play with, be aware that it's slightly smaller in diameter than you're thinking it should be, and you might want to get a slightly more expensive (but wider) model.

Good quality for a little metal slinky. Not large but not small. Had trouble going down our stairs which is really why I got it for my kiddo. But she was satisfied for about as long as a kid usually is

We got pink. It's for a bird feeder so not a big deal, but if it was for a kid who wanted a specific color, order elsewhere so you can get the color you want.

Smaller than what I was imagining but I should've read the description better. I was just assuming it was a regular size one for as much as it costs. It is nice and sturdy and fixed surprisingly well

This is a very tiny item and nothing like what they show in the picture. We got the silver one and after reading the questions section I found that even though they show colors they only sell the silver one and don't even carry any of the colored ones. I'm disappointed I gave a dishonest person my money and also disappointed that my nephew is going to think this thing is lame.

I purchased this to keep squirrels from climbing the support pole for our bird feeder. It took a couple of weeks of fighting with the squirrels to finally convince them that this spring would cut off their tails and feed them to hawks. I'm sure it would be a very good toy, but it is an even better device to scare away squirrels that think they deserve to steal bird seed.

This is not 2.36" but more like 2.125" so it is smaller in diameter than listed. 2.36" is about 2 3/8" and this measures 2 1/8". That 1/4" makes a difference in diameter. I gave it 2 stars because it is ok and may work on my bird feeder and is ok for shepherd's hooks.
