Q: How do you properly clean this floor mat?

We are using ours over a laminate floor and we typically just damp mop them along with the floor and it seems to work fine. We use homemade cleaner with water, rubbing alcohol, sometimes vinegar, a few drops of dish soap and a few drops of citrus essential oil, that sort of thing. Sometimes I'll spot clean with a damp rag, usually just water. Rubbing alcohol is good because it doesn't streak. But all in all they're quite easy to clean.

Q: I need a mat that can overlap the lip of carpet and hardwood floor. Why all the warnings about using this on carpet? Could I use this as a hybrid?

Thank you for your question. The material of our mat is soft PVC, if placed on a carpet, the uneven surface will cause the mat to be unstable and damage to the furry carpet. And the transition between the carpet and the hardwood floor is uneven and will make the mat slide, so using it as a transition is not suitable.The mat is suitable for the hard floor, installing the mat with the instruction for spreading, the mat could be placed on hard floors very stably.

Q: Would this work on a rug?

NO, It is only suitable for hard floors, such as vinyl, hardwood, laminate, linoleum, tile, stone and other concrete floorings. Not for any type of rug.

Q: How long does it take to lay flat?

I put this on the attic floor to flatten, it’s been there for 6 weeks. It’s still not flat.
