VIVOSUN Gardening Hand Pruner Pruning Shear with Titanium Coated Curved Precision Blades (Curved Blade)

I use these and a straight pair (from Home Depot) to prune my plants and especially, wet trim my Flower... and I always find myself going to these over the others.The curved tip makes it super easy to get in there and snipped tiny bits, like sugar leaves. They are very precise. I couldnt imagine trimming/ pruning without these. They are sharp and hold up to quite a bit of abuse. Like all my other pruners, I completley removed the little plastic lock; as they sometimes lock themselves when you close them during a cut! The spring in them is strong enough to always return them to the open position quick and snappy. Im not sure how much the "coating" (gold finish) helps? To avoid disappointment, don't buy these. The "precision blades" are as precise as a sledgehammer. It would help if both blades followed the same curve and had some kind of a tip, maybe an edge or two? Completely useless and a waste of time and money. I would return them, but it's going to cost half as much as they cost to do so. Buy something else.

I saw Vivosun products and seems like a good quality company. I bought a few things from them but these shears are good for single use. I trimmed my first plant and I immediatly noticed that much force was needed for cutting something as simple as a fan leaf. After I was all done I cleaned the shears using Isopropyl 99% and stored them on my indoor grow room (22C with 45% RH), no rust or nothing but can't cut bud branches and they tear fan leaves, so using my nails I get a cleaner cut. Nope I don't suggest these shears.

I have to submit a comment on these. When you get them and see the package, you’re like come on, I got duped. Because the package looks like it can straight from the dollar store. But these things are actually great. Sturdy. And sharp. I was pleasantly surprised.

Like someone else mentionned, I received a pruning shear that doesn't cut, be that thin flexible stem or harder (thicker) ones, the blades are dull, I've trying cutting closer to the handles but still it just won't cut anything. I can't return so I can only warn you guys reading this, hope you don't get scr**wed like I was.J'ai acheté ce sécateur en me fiant aux nombres d'étoiles et des évaluations. Résultat: un sécateur qui ne coupe pas, que ce soit des tiges très minces et flexibles ou de plus épais et rigides. J'ai essayé a divers endroits des lames, même très proches des poignées et ça ne coupe pas plus.
