Like I said its size covers the whole lower back. Also, it has it's own soft side, in a nice material, so that you won't get frost bite and you don't need to have a towel in between the gel pack and your back. There are multiple uses for this gel pack, besides the back. It's a great product!!

Easy to use & good tips.Cold pack felt good on area needed.

Bought this to keep my daughter cool at my son’s baseball games keep it frozen to the last time to use it and we just laid in the bottom of my wagon! Worked perfectly it would make it so much easier for her to take a nap and stay cool! And also used it for my son when his legs would be sore so big it covered both his legs (he’s 7 years old).

In this photo you can see that I have the straps like a backpack. I like that I can use this on my upper/middle back where the problem is and can walk around with it but did not figure out how to do this for many days of hassling with the straps horizontal. They obviously do not work if horizontal and standing up. Laying on it or having it on top as in the photo on the box works but not if you need to be ambulatory. It does not stay cold long enough for me as body heat obviously dissipates it but 15 minutes for some may be enough. I needed it longer. It could be thicker/contain more gel is kind of flat. It does get cold very fast so maybe more gel would take longer for it to get cold enough especially if in a lot of discomfort and need it ready fast and continuously.In this case it is a fractured vertabrae that is getting some relief and making me more comfortable. I am mainly using the plastic side but in bed laying on top of it with a nightgown I like the soft side. Reasonably priced.

Great size and stays cold for quite a while.

Works really great. Easy to use and hits all of your back at once instead of a bunch of little ones. The velcro straps make attaching it yourself easy also.

This covers my whole back. Has straps so you can attach it to your body. I have not tried that. This is just what I needed to soothe soreness. Has two sides - a cloth side and a slick side. I use the cloth side most. Just freeze in the provided plastic bag, unfold and get relief.

My legs were swelling and I use this to put around my legs and it worked wonderful I wish I would have got to instead of one I could have done both legs at the same time. That'll be great to put on my back when it hurts or for anything else.
