I really like this sand.It helps with the charcoal incense I use by providing a little barrier between the lit charcoal and the copal resin incense that I use. Using the incense in the charcoal without the sand can be a little disastrous, because it just erupts into an enormous cloud of smoke. Adding this sand as a barrier between the charcoal and incense prolongs the burning time as well.It also looks quite nice, which is cool because I might start a tiny little zen garden.They really did me right.

Ummm....I dont know how else to provide a better review? The grains of sand are individually beautiful but together it is a piece of art. Is that good?

It's hard to find black sand to put in your black ashtrays very satisfied with my purchase

Holds items well but the bag came with a small hole so a little spilled out but it's just sand. very pretty, i thought it would just be plan white sand but it had a shimmer to it.
