Simple, effective, great for retro systems
I like this switch. Good tactile feedback on the buttons. This is great if you have several different retro systems you want to use with the same monitor.

Great for Work From Home Office
I work from home 2-3 days each week and this switch box allows quick transition between home and work computers on a single backup monitor. There were some weird color bars and screen flickering when I first connected it. After one cycle of switching between the two computers everything was normal. No loss in resolution or image quality for either system.

Great Product
It's great for the price, quality, and functionality. And works really well with any VGA Only monitor. My only complaint is the buttons are a little wonky. But works great still.

perfect for dual vga setups
I needed a vga switch to hook up to my led monitor to switch from my computer and arcade gaming setup and came across this 2 port vga switch. First of all it needs no external power which it already gets from the devices connected to it. Secondly it switches well between the two vga ports with good picture clarity and no distortion. Thirdly it is small so it can fit pretty much anywhere in a computer setup. The only drawback that I came across is that the vga ports aren't spaced out to accommodate wider cable mounts. I have 2 large vga cables and a small one. I had to put the small cable in port 2 while the ones which had the larger mounts had to be placed on port 1 and to the vga out port. Its very affordable , easy to setup with one flaw but I will recommend this product to anyone who needs two vga ports connected to one monitor

3dfx Retro Computer, worked like a charm
My use case for this is attaching my S3 Virge DX and my 3dfx Voodoo 1 without using a passthrough cable. Attached both as inputs to this and then output to a monitor. Works great. Monitor recognizes the switchover and changes resolutions smoothly.I heard it can break over time but the price is right to buy one and a backup in case.

Worked well for about a year
This unit's price seems to be indicative of it's quality. When I first got it, it worked fine. Nothing fancy but did what I needed it to do. I bought it in July of last year and used it on a regular basis. It never failed until yesterday when one of the inputs stopped working. It was a spontaneous failure. The unit received no rough treatment. And in fact, it sat in the same spot it's entire life. It just quit working. It is now useless and I have to swap cables manually to use my second computer. At first I was going to buy another brand but most of the other units on Amazon look like they're made by exactly the same people. Even at such a low price I'm leery of buying another one that will also only work for a short time and then crap out like this one.UPDATE - 9/6/2022Well, it turns out that there is not very much variety here on Amazon for this specific type of product. When the other one died, I thought I would be able to find something better for maybe a little more but most of what is here are the KVM switch type (the ones where you share a USB mouse and keyboard for all your computers that are connected). Those are probably great if you need them but I didn't want the added complexity. I wanted a simple switch. So I thought about it for a while and decided to go ahead and buy another one of these. I still doubt it will last very long but I need it. So this time I bought the one with 4 inputs and 1 output. I don't actually have 4 VGA devices I need to plug into it but it did occur to me that if one of the inputs dies, maybe the others will still work like it did on the old one (the problem there was I had two computers and only one working input). So the new one does feel significantly heavier than the old one but it does have more stuff in it. That said, I took the old one apart and there wasn't really much in there. Just a very lightweight board with a couple of switches and VGA connectors on it. Who knows. Maybe this one is made a little better. The main complaint I have about the 4 input one is the output is on the front beside the switches. I have this box sitting on top of one of my PCs. It looks even more cluttered than it did with the other one with a cable plugged into the front of it and running down the length of the PC. I wish they'd just made the case a little wider and put the output on the back like it was with the other one.So I guess we'll see how long this one lasts. It does work and feels good to have the functionality back.END UPDATE
