Works Great
The repair shop replaced the regulator a few months ago but the one they put on never put out more than 13V. Then it shorted out and caught fire. I replaced it with this one and it's putting out over 14V and working fine. And it was a lot cheaper.

The right part at the right price
Working on a 2004 Yamaha Bruin 4 wheeler. Had a drain on the battery. Ordered the part on Amazon and was shipped and delivered in a couple of days. I got the right part at the right price.

Quit working after 18 months
I installed this on my 2001 V Star September 2022 after my OEM one stopped working and overcharged my battery. Here I am in March 2024 and now my battery is overcharging again. Didn't ride for about 9 months because of winter and wrist surgery, so it really only lasted about 9 months. I'm buying OEM now.

Fixed my problem immediately.
Fixed my charging issue. Plug and play installation. Easy and inexpensive. I bought a spare, just in case..

Works until it doesn't
This lasted exactly 644 days in our Rhino 450. Worked perfect from the moment it was installed.Until it stopped working and caught fire, meeting the harness and plastics on the machine.I do not recommend it.

Lasted approx 4 months
Old regulator went bad, Ordered this one. worked good for approx 4 months. Then battery was dead. Went to charge it and found it was swelled up and busted. Put another battery in. All was well I thought, Then 2nd battery did same thing? Theres no info on Amazon to contact the seller.
