Skeptical at first, now a convert!
I couldn't imagine this harness would be comfortable to wear for hours of birding, but testing it during two weeks of sweaty intensive daily birding in Costa Rica made me a huge fan! This is the best binocular strap/harness I've used in tandem with my padded camera harness. As a petite woman, I've tried and tossed a lot of highly recommended harness systems that just aren't made for people like me. This one works for lots of body types. When wearing both camera and binoculars, I use this as a single strap slung diagonally across my chest, with my Nikon P950 on a padded harness in front of me (this goes on top of the camera harness). The bungee cord easily glides over the camera harness, so switching between bins and camera in the field is simple and quick. When I don't bring the camera, I wear this as a traditional harness with the bins in front. I especially appreciate being able to "lock" my bins to the side while hiking uphill, walking briskly, or birding by bike.Such a simple, elegant, low-cost solution compared with so many overbuilt, overly complicated harnesses!

E-Larynx
E-LarynxI use an E-Larynx to speak. Carrying it in my pockets was a problem because the tone and volume settings were affected. The neck strap was annoying. The device would swing out and around when bending over. It would hit my young grandchildren and our small dogs in the head.I decided to try this binoculars harness and I am very happy with it. It’s very comfortable. It is fairly inconspicuous. I can rig it differently depending on my activity.I told my speech therapist about it and the next time I saw her she told me she recommended it to another of her clients who mentioned the same complaints that I had.I recommend this product for E-Larynx users.

Possibly the best bino straps ever. Ingenious.
I love these. Everyone I know loves these. I ended up buying several as gifts for other birders in the family because everyone that sees me using them loves them.These. Are. Awesome. So many configurations (5?). The accessories available make them even more useful. I absolutely cannot overstate how much I love these. I consider them an essential part of my birding kit. I love every aspect of these straps (but calling them "straps" is like calling a Ferrari "transportation" - that really doesn't do these justice).

functional
the standard strap i was using made my binoculars feel super heavy after being out for a few hours and i was interested to see if this distributed the weight better. it absolutely does. i still have to adjust a little when i'm out so the cord doesn't irritate the side of my neck, but it's much less cumbersome than with a standard strap.listen folks this is not a cute bino strap. for birders with larger chests (my people), get stoked for an ultra confusing and unflattering boob separator look depending on the bra/shirt combo you're wearing with this. i've had the best luck with more of a compression bra that prevents a lot of separation/division on its own so the strap lies flatter, but it's definitely not great if you're trying to ....go on a sexy birding date i guess? i'm always wearing bizarre mismatched upf gear when i'm going out to bird for a few hours so it's not a deal breaker, but i am prepared to be briefly mocked when i leave the house. at least i'll be mocked without a sore neck!

Easy to adjust.
Great product, much better than my old wide strap harness.

Great lightweight harness solution.
I go birding every day, so my binocular gets used heavily. While I've never had issues with a conventional neck strap in terms of fit or fatigue, in warm weather the back of my neck gets... pretty swampy. But I've always found the cross-strap harness alternatives rather unwieldy and inconvenient. This product — recommended to me by a couple of fellow birders — is the exact solution I needed. It keeps the sweat off my neck, goes on and off fairly quickly, and doesn't add extra bulk to whatever I'm wearing. It's been a great addition to my everyday birding gear. I even ordered some additional accessories direct from the RYO website so I could further customize my rig.

Neck-saver
I honestly love this thing. I feel like a giant nerd wearing it while I hike and I couldn't be happier. It's probably way overpriced for what it is, but there isn't really anything comparable at the moment. The diversity of positions and avoidance of neck pain is worth it to me.

As advertised
I've a rather small BAK4 binocular (a Noc) and this straps attachment rings fit onto the Noc just fine. I like the fit (doesn't swing around like single strap) and the adjustability is easy to access once you learn how and where to reach back behind your neck. (One or two times should do it...)Comments on the chord don't make sense to me: it's durable, has good but firm stretch, and doesn't get tangled up if you put it on correctly. I encourage any users to watch the very short video of Rick Young showing how to use it.
