DONG-A Fine-Tech, 0.25mm, Gel Ink Roller Ball Pens, Black (Pack of 3)

Bought a pack of three. Love Korea, hate these pens. Scratchy, catches on the paper, ink inconsistently flows, lots of "railroad tracks", blah blah blah. The octagonal barrel appealed since I'm used to the thin Slicci barrels, but no. Come on, Dong, give me a real alternative. Slicci has been dominating the uberultrafine pen niche for too long now.

These are really REALLY really thin -- I mean, if you pressed down hard enough and moved the pen swiftly across a piece of paper, you could probably cut through it. But that's what the pen is advertised to be: 0.25mm, so as long as you know that this is the thinness of ink you want, you should be perfectly satisfied with it. It writes great and does its job as advertised. I wouldn't recommend this size for people who write in larger fonts mainly because you just won't be able to see the writing because it's so thin, and the thinness of the pen tip prevents the pen from gliding smoothly, so making sweeping lines across the page won't be very practical with this pen. But I got these to write in my planner, which give me oh so little room, so I write very small and these pens are perfect for such precision.
