This really works. I was skeptical about how well it would stick to my skin when I purchased it. I had a hip replacement and was told I couldn't get my bandage wet for two weeks. So prior to surgery I got these. I tried them out to make sure they would keep the dressing dry by putting baby power on my leg and then put the dressing over the spot. I took a long shower and much to my surprise, when I got out of the shower and dried off, the baby powder was still dry. I've used them for 6 showers and not once did water get into the area the bandage protector was covering. If you don't want to stink after surgery, get this product.

Works well to cover up actively sutured area. I recommend still trying to keep the wound away from the stream of water, as the edges will eventualy lift up, but if you are trying to finally get a shower after surgery, these are a life saver.

The adhesive does not stay intact during the shower. I try to prep the skin prior to applying the cover. I cleaned the skin around my PICC line with alcohol, let it dry, and then applied the protective cover. 5 minutes into my shower the cover became loose. I would not recommend purchasing this product!

worked amazing! was able to take a shower and not get incision wet.

this is a good product in that the size is adequate and the plastic impervious to water, however, the tape is not strong enough to hold . Additional tape has to be applied to the edges to insure no water infiltration. Better than wrapping in plastic wrap but you do need that additional tape.

It doesn’t stay stuck to the body.

I was sooooo looking forward to using this product hoping that when I got the opportunity to bathe after hip replacement surgery, it would work as reviewed and presented. I placed the said product over my hip bandaged incision, it sticks as described for approximately-a couple minutes (I’m being vigilant about NOT getting this area wet for obvious reasons.) and then the seal slowly begins to come off, from the top and bottom. I try to reseal, then the sides begin to pop off. I was so so frustrated; trying to hold the seal on with one hand and attempting to bath with the other. A complete fail. I was hoping this was a product I could order again- I previously made makeshift “see-through coverups” out of cut up ziplock bags and duck tape for my left hip replacement. For my right hip replacement surgery experience, I purchased the said product I’m reviewing, and was desiring a more smooth protective process. What a waste of money. My primitive way was a lot of work but better !

bought this for my mom who has a catheter, patches are good quality, the adhesive part is good quality, this is my third time ordering these patches, great value
