Metal Cylinder Magnets, 30pcs Gold Magnetic Pins - Perfect for Building, Science, DIY, Refrigerator & Kitchen, Whiteboard, Locker or Fridge

Had these for a few months on our fridge and the gold coloring has all rubbed off.

These are perfect for my needs. They are remarkably strong for their size, and all 30 take up a very small amount of space on my magnetic whiteboard. Folks, please heed the warning to keep away from children and if you have a habit of holding map pins in your mouth while positioning large posters, don't do that with these as they are extremely tiny, and they could be harmful or fatal if swallowed. These are great for an office environment, but the shiny gold color, small size and strong holding power that make them useful for holding paper to a magnetic whiteboard and almost invisible from a short distance away, make them inherently both attractive and dangerous to children. As an adult, I enjoyed playing with these safely, and I kept them away from items that should not be exposed to magnets, but I can see where they could be irresistible to children (or irresponsible adults who put stuff in their mouth). These are tinier than most pills, and could be easily swallowed by accident which would create a medical emergency. Just respect the power of these tiny magnets, use them responsibly, and keep away from children, and you will find them great for the purpose for which they are intended. Otherwise, like many items that can be used incorrectly, if used so, can have tragic consequences. Use these only as intended, and I am sure you will find them more than up to the task. I give these magnet map pins a five star rating, but only when used appropriately.

I bought these to use on a magnetic map because the gold color would go really well with the map of the world I put up to mark places we had been. And they do look pretty cool.However, they are so strong that you can't put them within one inch of each other or they will all clump up together. For places like Hawaii, that's fine, but go to a few places in Europe and you end up with a clump.Now, if you have a magnetic white board and want to pin things to the board, these would probably be great. They also work well for that on refrigerators as well.

I was hoping to use these as a discreet, but strong non-pierced body jewelry option. Unfortunately they couldn’t hold their own against my eraser nipples. Oh well! The search for something strong, small and pretty continues!

I just got a new French door refrigerator, and wanted magnets that wouldn't look clunky. These are tiny, simple, elegant, and super strong. It took me a bit to decide I was willing to pay this much for fridge magnets, but they are worth it. And really, since there's 30 in a pack, instead of 8 or 10, the price isn't bad.

Pretty trying for their size . I’ve bought several sizes of magnets here and I’d have to say these probably up there with the best of them . I only needed two but before they got here I lost the item these were for I am extremely sad to say .But I played around with them for a while when they came and they pretty strong . I can stick them all together end to end and pick a a stubby ratchet . They was kind of amazing for these little things.

It can stick up a lot of paper - even the cardboard that the magnets came in. The pins were silver, and not gold, as I had ordered, but I'll keep them - hence the four stars.
