I make my own red sauce since I'm on a very low sodium diet and this is by far my favorite brand. I've also tried Muir Glen and Cento no salt added tomato puree. Muir Glen is good but much sweeter, Cento is ok, and both of them are much thicker than the Pomi.This stuff is not overly sweet and has a nice tanginess to it. It's also thinner than the other brands, it's the consistency of pizza sauce where the others are more like a thick ketchup.I noticed some people were getting short dated product. I ordered this September 3rd and the pull date is Feb 29 2024. This is the same pull date as the stuff I get it at the local grocery store. It's a fair bit cheaper here so as long as the pull dates are fine it's a much better deal to get a case here. Short pull dates are a common problem with food on Amazon so it's always something to keep in mind.The packaging was the only weak point, it was placed in a bigger box with no packing materials to keep it from moving around. It could have easily got damaged but mine arrived in perfect conditionEDIT: I ordered more on February 18th 2024 and the pull date is Feb 2026, so no worries about the date.

Clear, pure tomato flavor. Only 10 mg of sodium which is naturally in the tomato. No added sodium.When I make spaghetti sauce I usually add aboout 5 small dollups of Vietnamese oyster sauce to add depth to the flavor. This is a staple in my pantry.

This passata is of excellent quality, and the only one I use when making a tomato based sauce. I make sure to never run out.

We use this most of the time for tomato sauce. It has an unbelievable taste. It is great in a cup for quick tomato soup too. I think it is probably free of lectins so a gift for those of us with autoimmune diseases.

I’ve bought Pomi Strained Tomatoes at the store for several years now, and it is my go to tomato sauce for many recipes. It is flavorful and has a nice creamy consistency. I enjoy the versatility it offers me for pasta sauces, being able to choose the spices and veggies I may want on a particular day, as opposed to being limited to specific pasta sauces with pre-determined flavors.The only ingredient is tomatoes, so you can go from Italian to Indian, and everything in between.Love the convenience of being able to order a 12 pack from Amazon!
