New Colt Python Grips I/E I E Frame Checkered Hardwood Handmade Open Back Gold Medallions

I had some concerns about ordering these grips. The reviews were mixed and a number of buyers had trouble getting them to fit. The ones I got fit perfectly, but only after I applied a fair amount of pressure to get them to slide into place. That may be the situation with some buyers who said there was a gap after they put them on. Any way, I am very pleased, and, by the way, they look a lot better than in the picture. There are a lot of grips advertised that cost three (or more) times as much, but I don't see how they could be any better looking or have a more perfect fit. Highly recommended.

The grips work right great

I got these to replace the laminated grips that come with the 2020 Python. They are good quality and look like the grips that came on the original Pythons. Mine have a very small gap at the front where the two halves meet, but I am leaving them on and gradually tightening the screw over a few weeks. If that doesn’t close the gap I’ll remove some wood. With original Python grips bringing $300 these are an excellent alternative.

The right side grip was warped and the left side grip was an 1/8" off at the top...stood too high over the frame. Not to mention the Colt medallion was seated incorrectly on the left grip as well.
