OtterboxAlpha Glass Screen Protector for iPhone 11 / iPhone XR, Tempered Glass, x2 Scratch Protection

Item arrived promptly as is standard with Amazon, however I saw the phone installation tool was a little too large for the phone. I should have guessed what was to come next I took out the glass and laid on the phone and found it to be too large for my phone. I rechecked the box and the order and it does state iPhone 11, I’ve tried the tool on my iPhone 13 and it kinda fits but not perfectly so suspect it’s for the iPhone 11 max.Also dislike the 2x in the title on quick glance it suggests there are 2 glass protectors when there isn’t.

I've used Otterbox glass products for about three years. The first one I got worked perfectly for two years on my old phone. I then changed phones and decided to get another Otterbox glass for my new iPhone. The otterbox glass shattered within a few days, from the phone being placed on a table. Not dropped. Placed. I put it down to bad luck, and bought another. A week later, the same thing happened. I decided not to replace it, and have left the cracked one on my phone. It has since then shattered another time. I am at a loss to understand how this keeps happening from such a reputable product.

I’ve never been good at installing screen protectors, but just got a new iPhone 11 and wanted to make sure I didn’t ruin the screen straight away, bought this one as it was from the otterbox brand, followed the instructions and used the install tool, it took about a minute to fit has no air bubbles and doesn’t affect the touch screen at all. You wouldn’t even know the protector was on there from a sensitivity perspective.Very happy and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this protector.

Applied as instructed (with experience of many other protectors before) but still got lots of bubbles that won't come out and a cracked edge. See photos.Very disappointed given it's an OtterBox and the price.I've had better ones at a quarter of the price.

Not quite sure what performance glass is supposed to be but I've been through several of these protectors and they invariably develop hairline cracks if phone is accidentally dropped. I'm now contemplating a different way of protecting my phone.
