I bought this journal to use as my first bullet journal and it did not disappoint!It has lovely thick pages which stand up to both watercolour pencils and also pens (Tombow and Pigma micron) without bleeding through. The first two photos are back-to-back and show the ghosting of using thick pen. The pages will start to crinkle a bit if you're heavy on the water though. The pages are off-white not pure white. It also lies flat which is great for drawing spreads.The cover is a lovely, vibrant turqoise and seems very sturdy and hard to bend.I would definitely buy again!Great customer service and it arrived promtly before Amazon's 'arrival date'

Amazing quality for the price, looks like a $30 or more journal. I haven’t used it as yet but paper is very thick so I can’t imagine any issues an plan to use light watercolors, ink/markers etc. (Will update if any issues). My only complaint and is probably a personal thing is that the dots are printed a bit too dark and I would prefer the faintly printed ones so you can’t see them too much and they are more guidelines or guide dots! I didn’t have any issues with pages being bent as other people have noted, maybe they fixed the issue or maybe luck of the draw? Overall very happy!

I have bought many journals over the last couple years but this has easily become my favorite and most used. I love the faux leather cover, it feels so nice and the color is gorgeous! The pages are thick which is a necessity because of ghosting but I haven’t had that problem yet & if it does happen I will start gluing two pages together to hide it which I don’t mind AT ALL! I love having the mix of some thicker pages. It’s perfect size to carry with me everywhere which helps with using it more often. I want to buy another even though this one has plenty of unused pages. The dot grid is helpful when drawing but they are light enough color that they don’t get in the way of a finished picture, love that! Also love the elastic band and the pocket in the back helps with keeping my cutouts. It’s a great buy!! Perfect for my journaling!!

Esta muy bien hecho, las hojas son gruesas y no se traspasa la tinta, abre completamente plano, tiene sobre atrás para guardar estampas y otros detalles. Lo volveré a comprar cuando termine estos.----I loved this dotted journal, I bought two of a beautiful turquoise color. It is very well made, the leaves are thick and the ink does not pass through, it opens completely flat, it has an envelope on the back to store stamps and other details. I will buy it again when I finish these.

I've started to pick up bullet journaling after trying to be too fancy and giving up the first time a few years ago. After research into the different available journals, I settled on this one for two reasons: price and page thickness. I've been using it for a few days.There are no frills to this -- No built-in index pages or the like. It's a good starter journal to use as you figure out what's important to you in a bullet journal.Pros: Inexpensive! Half the price of similar journals. Paper thickness is great - no bleeding and very little ghosting from my Pilot Precise V5, Sharpie Fine-Point Pens, and Tombow brush markers. You could use watercolors on this and be better off than most bullet journals available. The page marker is long and mine came glued in well. The back pocket is nice to have. The elastic band keeping it closed is secure. The cover is stiff. It lays flat when opened (for the most part). The color is true to the photo. The dots line up evenly across page spreads. My journal arrived in excellent condition.Cons: You get what you pay for here. The paper isn't the smoothest. The dots are a bit dark for my preference, and they seem to vary in darkness throughout the journal. No page numbers. The paper itself is more of an ivory/cream color than white (which I don't mind since I'm not using this for art). The page marker and faux leather look and feel cheap. The binding is a little sketchy on some pages, and I'm worried it'll start to rip out. Not very sturdy overall, so I would not recommend this for rugged use.All in all, I give it 5 starts because it's good quality for this price point. It's perfect for someone new to bullet journaling who isn't going to abuse their journal. It's simple, the pages are thick, and it's priced well. I would highly recommend this to anyone just starting out. I like it and will continue to use it until I run out of pages. At that point, if I've stuck with bullet journaling, I'll likely move on to a higher quality journal.
