I liked it.
Quite good. Nothing really amazing, but worth reading.

Poor image quality
Good content but the quality of images look like somebody has photocopied the entire book, even some of the contest is cut out on some pages, not sure if this is the Amazon`s mistake?

Hardcore lifting book
This book is one of the best out there plain and simple. The depth and breadth of thibs knowledge is very apparent as he delves into important theoretical concepts and explains them so everyone can understand. I was amazed at how comprehensive this book is and I really enjoyed reading it. With the title saying "secrets" I expected it to be full of bullet point style tips but it isn't, its well structured. All the charts graphs and other info is difficult to find elsewhere.I don;t know why some reviewers complained that it didn't have tips for advanced lifters...I'm pretty advanced having trained and competed for many years as a power lifter with double bodyweight lifts for reps and I picked up plenty of tips. In fact I would warn beginners to stay away from this book. You really do get what you pay for sometimes. This book is pricey but trust me its worth it. I just ordered all his other books. Also if you like thibs stuff have a look at Eric Cressey's "Maximum Strength", another winner.Bottom line for me, this book stoked my enthusiasm and really gave me new ideas to incorpprate into my training as well as reinforce salient concepts such as using multi joint movements, progression and good form. Pick up this book, you will not be dissapointed.

lots of useful information to help make training more effective and efficient
It's a well presented and thought out book, lots of useful information to help make training more effective and efficient. The only downside is that the pictures are next to useless as they are very poor quality.

BEWARE: printing issue...but AWESOME book.
BEWARE: there is a printing issue: all the photos are pixelled and in black and white and most of the charts or diagrams are unreadable. Take a look at the last pages of the "look inside" to see what I'm talking about.I have contacted the publisher and they were nice and quick to answer. The issue could be solved in a couple of months. Now, the content in itself is top notch. A must have.
