Needs AC power and connection w/handset could be better but works well
It works just like you expect. Easy to hook up. Have two pieces of feedback for this device:(1) Even when fastened to the phone with the included screws, picking up the phone can disengage the expansion model. It reboots when you put it back down, but I think the fastening between the phone and module should be much more solid. Moving the phone around should not disconnect the expansion module.(2) It needs external AC power. Even my AdTran POE+ switch is not enough to power the phone and expansion module. Having to plug the phone into AC power is not as convenient of course.
