" It just works" check my review video
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I knew when I touch the box and felt the weight compared to the other one I order from amazon this monitor mount was the one. It's sturdy on my little 18 year cheap desk. The mount will stay in placed. The gas spring arm is the way to go. It has so much flexible with placement. Check out my video.

BEST FOR THE PRICE
This is my second time buying a monitor arm from this company (The first was a dual monitor arm which my setup out grew). Let me start by saying this is by no means a cheap quality monitor arm. It's sturdy enough to hold my 44" ultrawide monitor (22lbs) and the gas arm still has enough power to lift the monitor by itself when tightened all the way. Would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a sturdy affordable mount.

Heavy duty
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. You should not buy this if your work table is flimsy because this is a sturdy arm weighing over 10 lbs when it arrived. You should be aware of your monitor weight as well. This can support upto 2 to 12 kgs of display weight. I have connected my 34 inch ultra wide monitor and it's amazing.Solid build for the costIt will take about 30 minutes to out this together. Don't make the mistake I did - the box looks small and I assumed I missed a part. There is one more layer of goodies underneath. You will need a 5 mm allen key wrench , screwdriver to put this together. However you might need a frickin lifesaver tool to cut open the custom box amazon ships this in!It's all good for now. I am going to use this for few months and circle back. The monitors weighs 22 lbs and it's ON all the time. Let's see. Cheers!

Cheap, weak parts—you get what you pay for.
I received this monitor arm to hold up an ultra wide monitor I had just purchased. I planned on using the clamp to hold it on my desk; to do so, I needed to set the clamp wider by unscrewing the two pieces of the clamp and setting them further apart. While attempting to unscrew the screws on the clamp for first arm I received using the provided hex wrench, one of the screws stripped. All of the screws were far too tight, and it was easy to tell that the screws were cheap. I ordered a replacement thinking it may have just been a fluke, and I took great care to be gentle with the replacement, but yet again the screws were extremely tight, they were weak, and stripped almost immediately upon attempting to loosen them.I can’t comment on how well the arm works because I was never even able to attach the clamp to my desk. My inclination would be that all of the parts are cheap and weak. My advice would be to not buy this monitor arm nor buy from this company. It is clear that the parts they use are not of any reasonable quality. It should not be the case that loosening screws causes them to strip and fall apart, especially if they’re going to be attached so tightly. Avoid this product.

holds a 43 inch 4k tv that's 19lbs on my desk if that's what you're looking for
very nice mount. was able to mount my 43 inch 4k tv as a computer monitor. it weighs 19 lbs and it feels like this mount can easily handle the weight. I was able to reclaim all of the space the monitor took up sitting on my desk.

Very happy with the purchase
I purchased this item to use with my 32 curved Samsung monitor. It is really easy to put together and install. One thing to make sure of is that your placement point has a deep enough lip(I didn’t look at that but was able to customize the desk to accept it - not a product problem). I am still working to tighten the tilt screw, it seems to be hard to turn and I don’t want to break it. Not sure if the is a trick to it. The gas shock adjustment works great! My 4 stars are due to the tilt screw, but would be 4.5 if I could only take half a star off.

Easy to setup, install and adjust
Just wanted to add my voice to the choir of folks that are pleased with this purchase -- Also appreciate that they advertise 5 years of support. I have this monitor mount installed on a living room table and it has been rock solid holding my 27" monitor. I move it regularly back and forth, up and down for different situations (to watch a TV that is behind it, to share the monitor with my spousy when we play Jackbox, and just to get it out of the way). It's been rock solid. Follow the clear instructions, install and you'll be good to go. Cheers!

Love it!
I have two arms that only move along the horizontal line, having this one for my third screen makes it PERFECT to get in and out of the way. I love how well it moves along the vertical and horizontal lines. And it allows the screen to tilt forward and back as well.
