This review I am writing is more about the experience than about the product itself. I mean, the way the pad was carefully folded and boxed inside that cylindric hard, made of cartoon (recyclable) box is just awesome. I somehow felt like I am unboxing one of Apple’s products.Then I found this letter from the seller (a wife and a husband), in which they thank the customer for buying the pad and advising to contact them directly to raise any issues with the pad if found. And to leave a review so they know how to improve (even more).The pad is awesome too. Nicely cut and finished and the material is genuine (I can tell from the feel and the smell).I just wished if there was a away to customize the size of the pad at the time of ordering it and as per the customers need, as an additional sizing options. But I have managed that very well, as I cut the pad (using a ruler and a cutter) to fit perfectly my desk (it was easy task). I was afraid I will ruin the pad or damage it. But it’s material made it easy task for me. I loved it even more now.Thank you Natalie and Emilio for this pad and for handling it with very careful.Keep it up and I wish you all the best :)

Just what I needed to protect my new desk. This has excellent texture and the firmness of the material seems to be just right. Not cheap but I wanted the large size and this seemed to be the best option for me. Initially it did not lay totally flat so I rolled the mat inside out for a minute and then unrolled and put it on the desk, it took a day or two to totally relax and lay flat. I ordered the dark blue/gray where the gray is the color of the material itself and the blue is the top layer. There is a difference in texture for the bottom, it's not quite as finely detailed as the top.

I love everything about these mats. I just bought another one to give to my brother who was using a mat from another competitor. I will def keep buying these for my friends/family so they can have a quality mat with a nice premium finish.

I didn't have the money right now to buy a nice deck for my office. So I pulled out a folding utility table to improvise. It was quite ugly. But when I place the Vine Creations desk mat on the surface, it transformed my desk to look very, very nice. It was a perfect fit too! I'm already thinking of foregoing the expenditure of a new desk! Using the pad on my office desk and am very satisfied with this product. The size I purchased (36/20) fits my desk well with a flat, low profile that doesn't lift or slide around. It's an excellent writing surface and my Apple wireless mouse loves it, (as opposed to the one I'm replacing,) tracks smoothly. I even managed to spill some coffee on it and no leakage through to my oak desk. It costs a little more than some competitors, but well worth it. Would buy again and recommend to others.

I bought two of these for my homeschooling kids to unroll and put on our dining room table when they're doing their work. Saves our table from so many scratches and indentations and the colorful mat also helps my kids know where their space to work is and get in the right mindset for homeschool. It's convenient that they roll up and have a strap to keep them rolled for easy storage. Bought them a year ago and still happy with them!
