Very impressed by this small knife
Loving this knife so far! The tanto blade is great and sharp, and I've used the bottle opener more than I thought I would.

My Favorite
I've owned a lot of pocket knives over the years. This one is hands-down the best. I own two.

Refurbished?
I bought this same knife from blade hq and it came in a kershaw box. The one from amazon that I got as a gift for my son came in different packaging and the tip of the blade was rounded. Not a perfect point like the blade hq version.

Affordable Quality
This is another example of price not defining quality. I think I paid about $17.00 for this knife. The carbon based steel is hard enough to cut and hold an edge well. It sharpens easily. It is a great EDC. I purchased two, I have set them up so I have one for right hand and one for left hand carry. I like the back end where it can be used as a screwdriver or a window breaker. It can also be used a bottle opener. The knife fits in the hand great. The Tanto blade is not a blade that most Americans like. As a Red Blooded American country boy I can explain this easily. We as Americans don't like the point where the edge takes the upward turn because when skinning animals and other daily tasks we find that it is difficult to work with. However, we as Americans have not been taught how to use the Tanto blade as its origins are Japanese. Americans prefer a curvature like a drop point or clip point, rather than a sharp angle like the Tanto. Before I go on, let me say, everyone has a right to their preference, however, if Americans were taught how to use the Tanto for everyday task rather than combat only blade (I say this because Americans see the Tanto blade as a combat blade only because it has an excellent ability to penetrate in a stabbing motion and it penetrates very hard materials). As someone who has been taught to use the Tanto blade I am very pleased with it and I wish more Americans were taught to use the Tanto blade for every day task. If they were I believe the popularity of Tanto blade would increase dramatically.
