This is not Sea Salt. NO REFUNDS....Kinda Deceptive
It is ground nicely for you, but it is still NOT SEA SALT.MY doctor said SALT is very bad for Blood Pressure. NO REFUNDS.ONLY Sea Salt is OK for High Blood Pressure. Beware, it appears like it is Sea Salt, since it is prepared in Bamboo, but it is not.

Tastes Like Salt, Texture Like Powdered Sugar
I wasn't sure what to expect when testing out the Wang Korean Bamboo Salt. From my understanding, the salt is baked in a bamboo piece at very high temperatures and removes impurities while raising the level of calcium, potassium, iron, copper, and zinc. This raises the healthy benefits of the salt and can be used as a digestive aid, styptic, disinfectant, or as a natural toothpaste. Because it's not baked at 1500 degrees, it's not darkened like purple salt is, but the health benefits should be very similar. I'm not so sure about the health benefits, but the salt is definitely salty and has good flavor, and the thing that I love the most about it is the texture. Most salts I use are either grainy or flaky, but this salt stands out because it's very finely milled and has the texture of powdered sugar. The salt dissolves almost instantaneously when in contact with water, and it's perfect for sprinkling over meats, adding to baked recipes, finishing off dishes, and for making some really great banchan. The texture alone makes the salt great for all your favorite recipes, and if you like making your own toothpaste, this salt is perfect for mixing with baking soda to make a natural toothpaste to get your teeth extra clean. It's a unique salt that worth trying out and something I would buy again.

Salty Powder
The media could not be loaded. As far as saltiness goes .... 5 stars ...Exactly what do they mean by "baked in bamboo?" I am assuming that wet salt is harvested from sea mines somehow and then packed into bamboo and baked at 1830 deg F. to dry it out. Then it is ground together to produce this bamboo salt ... maybe?this is a fine powder, more like a plant than a salt, not gritty or grainy. The writing is mostly in Korean and French.362 servings ... and really salty

A Better Salt
If you're looking at this product, and therefore reading this review, you are probably already well aware of the health benefits of Korean bamboo salt.High mineral content (especially magnesium), as well as the removal of impurities has made this a staple in Korean households. As you can see, this is in powdered form. Not as salty as regular salt if you're using it as a culinary seasoning. You can brush your teeth with it, too!
