First off.... I'm slightly embarrassed at how Caucasian I am.... bubble tea is.... wait for it.... tea. That's it. It's sweet because I had to make the syrup.... aka sugar water. The Boba is the most complex thing about it. It's also my least favorite. Now... on to the tea they provide... delicious. Each packet is supposed to make 4 cups. I made the Thai tea and instead of sugar water used sweetened condensed milk. In order to make the big jar in the picture.... I steeped the tea twice. The regular directions would only fill that jar to the half way point. Really... one packet would be 2 16 Oz beverages ... works out to about same average price as buying in the store but you have to make it.That al being said - I'm happy... it tastes great... but it is not quite the same as I buy in the store. In the future, I'll go to my own tea shop and get a strong black tea, add sweetened condensed milk to taste, skip the Boba, and enjoy. I think i thought it was packets of flavors that were added to your favorite tea. it's not that. It's just loose leaf tea. I'm American... they say there are 4 servings per packet. I will finish each packet the day I make it. So... there are 5 servings for me.... unless I double steep... which I will - But will still probably finish in the day. I didn't make the Boba. It come with 2 packets. The whole package is delightful. I will share this experience with my 5 year old niece... it will make me her hero, and this will all be worth every penny. ❤️

It's so annoying that the recipe cards for each tea aren't included and I have to go hunt them down online on the website. The tea is good, but it comes with a small amount of tea per package. What you do get has an absolutely stellar flavor!! Very good!

I live in a small town, you can’t find good boba. This kit is such great quality- the teas are authentic, you can make your tea to your liking. I actually like that you brew it yourself, as the premix powders that come in other kits are just sugar and gross. It takes a while to brew everything when you’re in the mood for some boba- but the variety is great and I was so happy to find this kit! Great value for the amount of product you get

Everything about this product was excellent. The tea flavors were amazing, so accurate to buying bubble tea from a bubble tea cafe. The tapioca pearls were incredible. I've made bubble tea at home before and these pearls were considerably better than any I've made in the past. I appreciate the straws and all the recipe cards for making the teas just right. I especially appreciate that the kit is vegan and the teas do not include milk powder! Makes it safe for those with allergies or diet preferences that other mixes do not offer. This would make an excellent gift, and it's a great option during lockdown. Thank you!

This is my third purchase with Locca Boba Tea. I have a big family and this product is definitely for us. There are 7 types of loose tea and 2 lbs of tapioca pearls. Plus lots of boba straws and instructions. I am a fan of organic teas and this makes this kit special. My kiddos love boba and it is great to have an organic and delicious option.

This was really fun to do but as the directions are for the entire bag of tea I suggest getting a big metal sieve it makes it easier to drain out the tea leaves, a tea strainer is too small.
