PROS:1. The best, for the price, ultra-high performance all season tires on the market (if you can find them in size for your vehicle).2. Great traction in all conditions and a pretty cool tread pattern.3. Good tire wear rating and mileage warranty (see cons about this too).CONS:1. A bit expensive compared to regular tires, but mitigated because the only tires that come close to these in performance are actually 25%-30% more expensive.2. The tire wears down quicker than the tire warranty indicates. Warranty is for 50k miles (or is it 60k?). In any case, I get about 25k-30k miles on a set of tires. Considering the cost of replacement for my cars (about $1000-$1200 with installation each time since they are all AWD vehicles and all the tires need to be changed at the same time)3. Not really a con, but a warning...don't get the ExtremeContact DWS tires...SPECIFY ExtremeContact DWS-06. That 06 at the end makes ALL the difference between an average tire and a super one. The price is lower for the regular one, but the performance is not there. If you are seriously considering these tires, make absolutely sure that they are the 06 version. These are awesome ultra-high performance all season tires. The price is a bit steep, but when compared to any other tire that even remotely comes close to these (in this category), it is actually the least expensive of the bunch! These really perform well in all conditions (it is a DWS...Dry, Wet, Snow), and the DWS is imprinted in the tire itself to let you know, as it wears, the conditions that the tire can best handle (eventually, before going completely bald, all you will see is just the "D").With these tires, now on both my Mercedes S-Classes, they perform as well as my Audi A8L. The Audi Quattro system has always been better than Mercedes 4-Matic system primarily because the Quattro will do a 50/50 front/rear split while the 4-Matic is usually rear wheel drive and goes up to a 40/60 front/rear split...which means less front traction which is important in trying to get up my steep driveway in Central NY winters. We get a lot of snow and a lot of sleet and roads are slippery and dangerous, but more so for my driveway because it is thick concrete and that freezes over much quicker than asphalt. The other reason that these tires outperformed my older OEM Continentals is obvious...those were Touring Tires, which are considered all-season, but they are meant only for light snow (and anyone who knows Central NY knows that we get heavy snow on many days during winter). With these tires, though, I have not had an issue driving during virtually all road conditions or coming up my driveway. The only cons I can give for these tires...is longevity and cost.Anyways, I couldn't be happier with this tire or the seller. Shipping was fast and actually arrived BEFORE the appointment I made based on the expected delivery date. The packing was as usual (who packs tires anyways?) and there was no damage or wear to the tires. The looked great, smelled brand new and were still a little "oily" just like at a tire store. I highly recommend not on these tires but also the seller. :)

My second favorite tire so far and that’s a great thing!
I so far put just over 10K miles on these tires so far, nothing too crazy yet.Pros: very grippy in wet and dry pavement. Does fairly well on gravel and packed dirt and and uneven gravel roads. I only purchased these during the summer time and going into fall now so I haven’t tested snow capabilities yet. But I spent these will do fairly well in light snow. In terms of driveability, they are great. not most comfortable tire out there but they are fantastic punch way above their price bracket. Additionally these are off the shelf UHP tires, Ultra High performance tires, these are one of the most comfortable and daily drivable UHP tire only separated by OEM spec UHP tires like BMW/Tesla spec’d Michelin Pilot sport 4 S, these are however much more comfortable than the non OEM spec variation of those tires..Also don’t let asymmetrical pattern put you off, lot of people hate asymmetric tread patterns not sure why but so far I suspect these people are wrong. You can rotate them front to rear, you can change them side to side as well and they aren’t any more noisy vs non asymmetrical treads as so far, gripper than H/T tires by a decent margin.Cons: currently only con is they are slightly softer rubber compound, not a huge problem but means may wear faster for some users with heavier rigs in certain environments. Also means slightly less responsive vs the top tier UHP tires. Also means maybe more tire flex which could make it feel a little numb on center for track use. Oh yea one other odd note: on wet grass these don’t grip as well, oddly specific but if you got wet grass on a hill you need to climb up in your car in your car, like I did…well. May find it doesn’t bite into the grass as well as you would have thought would have. Can’t figure out why because grips everywhere else extremely well.

Terrific tires
Afraid to spend another season sliding around on my Michelin mxms, I had these Extreme Contacts installed the day before our first snow this year.Let me tell you, these tires do not disappoint.--Gorgeous tires: the treads are deep, and cut vertical, horizontal, diagonal, and cross-hatched for maximum handling of road conditions.Superb quality in rubber problem-solving.I did not slide in snow, slush or ice. The mechanic who installed them tried to get me to buy snow tires from him, but I'd done my homework on these and trusted them.So far, not disappointed. Have not found them noisy. They are fabulous on dry road, too, sticking to our carriage road turns like super glue. They're so good-looking and well-designed, I'd be tempted to put them on a pedestal, except they deserve to be ridden for full enjoyment.

Excellent quality quiet tire with exceptional tread life. Best value.
These tires grip the road and are very quiet and hold better in dry or wet conditions than Michelin and the tread life is impressive. I am an average driver and got 60,000+ miles from the existing DWS06 tires on my Honda Accord. These are my 4th set of Continental DWS06 tires. I have had these on my Nissan Altima SER V6 and Honda Accord Sport. I would most definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a quality tire. You can buy cheaper tires but they might only last 35000 miles. In the long run, these are a smarter investment considering price and value. These are rated at the top by Consumer Reports and by consumer ratings via Tire Rack foe a good reason.
